It's still really weird that Kirby has so much Continuity Porn, especially recently, when the stories are always an Excuse Plot to go blow something up.

And geez that's an extended final battle- I love it!

Even more of an excuse plot than Mario...?

The 2nd Nintendo series with the least amount of story has the most amount of continuity.

One of the things that makes Kirby unique I suppose. But to me, Kirby games recently seem to be on the process of World Building. While most don't have an original plot, the supplementary materials that you can find kinda make up for this, like so.

I wonder if it's safe to say that Dreamland gets attacked roughly every year or so and that Kirby really IS 24 by now.

We're only a few jumps away from that at this point...

It's not NOVA. Its actually another Clockwork star, like how Magalor stated the Halcondrans made tons of them in Return to Dreamland.

All the callbacks in the recent games are preparing us for the 25th anniversary kirby game on the Wii-U/ NX.

The next Kirby game should be a download-only game that consists only of boss fights. It would be a version of the Arena that compiles the bosses from the most recent games plus 3D recreations of the bosses from the 2D games.

I like the arena idea. Would that include partners as well? I think one thing that made the arenas really work in games like superstar were the partners, even though with a bunch of new copy abilities since then, it'd be kind of hard. (I haven't played triple deluxe so, excuse moi)

Triple Deluxe has no partners, but expanding on The Arena like that would definitely call for them, be they Super Star or Return to Dreamland style.

Actually, it's been determined that bringing a partner to any boss fight makes that boss get a health buff.

Beat The Arena in Triple Deluxe. Beetle OP. With that high damage output and learning the bosses' patterns, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Aside from the Sectonia 2, where I kept losing my Beetle then falling down a pit.

The True Arena in Triple Deluxe is a bit rough, thanks to how many of the bosses can just declare themselves impossible to attack thanks to the 2.5D gimmicks,especially Pyribbit, on top of the usual reasons of "everything is so fast now"

That's not really a problem, unless you're going for best time.

Some minor spoilers.

Highlights:

• Poison Kirby's dash attack has invincibility frames, and some of his attacks leave puddles of poison that damage enemies.

Poise-On Kirby?

That isn't really much a highlight, most of the abilities have that.

If I'm not mistaken, literally every dashing attack, regardless of ability, has invulnerability frames.
