I don't get the SOTR strip. "Mistake"? What's she talking about?
Also, what do you mean by "disappointment"? <suddenly has a certain suspicion, clicks "previous"> ... Oh. Someone forgot to link this MA3 strip. Doesn't seem like she's disappointed, though; more like she's mentally facepalming at this weird form of love-obliviousness (that is, Maura apparently ruled out the very possibility that Lynn might be interested in a relationship with someone like Maura), and asking for scotch to alleviate the incoming headache.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It was explicitly not linked due to naked buttocks.
There's clearly been a time jump in SotR. I'm sure that everything will become clear. But for an obvious guess, Lavali's mistake may be trusting Eva. I suspect that Aaina has been running a background check.
And nobody "forgot" to link to any strip because nobody is being paid for this stuff. If you want to be sure of not missing any strips, check the comic periodically for yourself. Ma3 updates quite regularly these days.
You're confusing two different strips.

= Spindriver =Real talk, I hate this site's, and the internet's general, use of "you forgot to mention X". Can we not imply negligence on someone else's part? If something wasn't mentioned, just mention it yourself.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYou forgot to say "please." :P
Fine, fine, I'm sorry I made unwarranted accusations. But really, as far as I've observed, not linking to/mentioning a new strip is pretty much a very rarely occurring exception to the norm of new strips being linked to/mentioned almost as soon as they're up.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The most I say when I'm the one who catches a missed strip is "nobody posted this yet, so here".
Fresh-eyed movie blogI don't just mean you, but a general thing that's been bugging me.
And as far as not linking strips mentioned, it's due to nudity. It can get a thread shut down quickly on these forums. The schedule's regular and the links are stable, so strips can be found easily on our own.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyBut the strip that was missed was not the one that was announced and not linked due to nudity. It was a different strip nobody had commented on yet.
Fresh-eyed movie blogOh. Well then yeah, do it yourself.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhile it's nobody's responsibility to share links to new updates, I do note that there are a few comics where people are usually reliable in linking them to the point that I stopped following the sites on my own, and it is annoying to realize that the thread missed one. It's nobody's fault, it's just irritating when a normally reliable channel is less than reliable.
Is that reasonable?
Fresh-eyed movie blogI say it's reasonable. If a thread's collective of posters have effectively established a trend in posting a link to practically every strip as soon as it's up on the site, I think it's unfair to criticize those who point out the occasional failure to uphold the trend. It's not like MA 3 is the only comic that I (and probably other posters here) follow, you know, and it doesn't update on a daily basis (like Sinfest) or even on set days (like Sandra and Woo).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I think it's nobody's responsibility, nobody's fault, and therefore rude to imply that somebody failed rather than just being the somebody who does the thing this time, but it's still okay to be a little annoyed the hive mind didn't come through.
Fresh-eyed movie blogMA 3 does have a set schedule, though. It's Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the occasional break for cons.
... Really? Huh. I wonder why I never caught on to that?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Search me. It only says so at the top right of each strip, after all.
Anyway, today being a Thursday, there's a new Ma3 strip. Ah, the Ma3 universe. Where testing someone's claims about dinner arrangements has to involve panty-flashing, and stupidity always includes a dose of very skewed logic. But Tess in panel 3 is worth the price of admission.

= Spindriver =SotR, on the other hand, claims to update Tuesdays and Fridays, but just doesn't. (Eisu seemingly suffers from hopeless optimism.) In fact, it's just updated today. With a fairly silly plot twist.
= Spindriver =... I'm not sure whether Maura or Tess has the better argument in the last panel.
... And I'm not sure if we should take "I'm her sister" at face value. This is the MA3-verse, after all; it's not unusual for a seemingly rational person to dismiss the simplest solution (in this case, Aaina saying that she effectively got dumped by Sandra... assuming that's what happened, of course) in favor of a much more convoluted solution (in this case, Aaina pretending to be her own twin sister because she apparently thinks it would be easier to accept for Lavali).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.ma3: No, panel 4 is definitely the best panel.
SOTR: Wait, but what about the character tags? Last strip and this strip tag different people. Dammit Eisu!
The sad, REAL American dichotomyEdit: Nevermind, someone already linked it.

New Ma3, much as expected. I'm going to guess that this is the sort of thing that stresses these two's friendship for all of five or ten minutes.
= Spindriver =I'm more interested in whether or not Tess had the presence of mind to pull down her dress after panel 1.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. One would think that she’d have noticed the draught by now if not. But — Ma3 character.
= Spindriver =Don't you mean the draft?
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?
New SotR. Time skip, so some unanswered questions. But there's one big mistake that Lavali has made that might be about to be revealed.
New Ma3. Lynn handles disappointment (and other problems) okay.
