Some more stuff on Taken King. Lots of generalities but the important bits, to me, are.

Proper fucking story

New exotic weapons, armor, and questlines

Big changes to armor, perks, weapons, etc.

They're also going to talk about major weapon balancing, big changes to faction allegiances, economy improvements, changes in bounty stuffs and quest experience.

There's also gonna be something big going down on the 7th because Bungie is obsessed with the number 7. All of us who made it through the bumpy ride that was Destiny so far are getting a present.

I really do feel good about this. Bit iffy on the price and that collectors stuff but I think the gameplay will be solid. Bungie seems to be genuinely learning from their fuckups as they go forward.

First mission for HOW I got a legendary Engram. Unfortunately it was just for a Titan Mark xD

I like all of the Reef and Fallen lore that we're getting in this expansion. I also like the sidearm we get, it's saved my life a few times.

Also I can never find a chest when I kill a bounty >_>

Destiny Public Events has maps with locations of all the Ether chest spawn locations.

Where is Xur today? I want to try that Urn of Sacrifice quest.

He's in the hangar on the right side just as you enter.

All that quest gives you is some gloves if I remember right. Not even very good ones.

Though I suppose with the new thingy all gloves are good now. Kinda bummed I didn't keep my fuzzy collar stuff.

I felt like a turd for using Thorn in the Iron Banner so I switched to my Red Hand IX and did well which isn't surprising since Braced Frame and Hidden Hand turn it into a laser. And while it's undoubtedly a random coincidence rather than some sort of karmic thing, RNGesus blessed me with Hawkmoon.

Got another legendary gun. Vindicator XI. Would have liked armor though. Also need Relic Iron to upgrade Ruin Wings some more.

I'm now Level 29 thanks to a few upgrades to my helmet and Ruin Wings. I also did two of the things in the Urn of Sacrifice quest but it's on hold until I can find a weapon that does void damage that isn't a heavy weapon. I need a shotgun or something.

Sounds doable. I still got no mic and would need to bang this out quickly but I'd love to get some loot.

Lemme hop on real quicklike.
