Please use this thread to request locks of articles that are deleted via the Cut List. The following types of locks are generally permitted:
- Work articles created in the wrong namespace.
- Banned subpages, like Headscratchers for a trope or YMMV for a creator.
- Work articles banned under the Content Policy.
The following types of locks are generally rejected unless the page is problematic for other reasons:
- Potentially valid subpages that were cut for having no content.
- Articles cut for being stubs or for being improperly launched from YKTTW.
Note that we do not add all cut articles to the Permanent Redlink Club, only those that a user might expect to find and be surprised that they do not exist.

Locked. Go ahead and cutlist 'em.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Worse Than It Sounds keeps being used to complain. Can the main redirect be it be locked? (The Page is fine).

Errr...there's not much reason to cut those since they're redirecting for the sake of preventing redlinks. Fallen Creator could possibly be dealt with quickly, having only 136, but Wall Banger has 3,999 links.
And So Bad Its Horrible had about that number. If we cut and redlink them then people will stop using them on the main wiki. They shouldn't have anywhere near that number of wiks.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickCan't we just get them a YMMV tag and get people to link them there?
With all due respect, that renders Darth Wiki and Sugar Wiki entirely pointless if they're separated from the site with no wicks.
On top of that, I've never been satisfied with Fallen Creator sitting on Darth Wiki. I was okay with it if we were still allowed to link to it, but the only reason it's there is because Fast Eddie got a bee in his bonnet one fine morning and nuked it without discussion. the Darth Wiki page only exists for reasons unknown to me. It's YMMV at best because it's not a page insulting creators, but its not a Flame Bait page, nor has it ever attracted Flame Wars.
^^The purpose of Darth Wiki is to give people who do nothing but complain somewhere to shove their crap, since it's nearly impossible to stop them completely.
I was under the impression that Sugar Wiki links were tolerated.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyOut of curiosity, where are we supposed to link In-Universe examples of So Bad It's Horrible?
Fight smart, not fair.We have plenty of pages on Darth Wiki that are not simply "places for people to troll". The entire reason it exists was to discuss certain topics. If it's just a place to troll, then why is it even there? TV Tropes is supposedly not supposed to host trolling and I've seen Fast Eddie threaten repeatedly to just delete Darth Wiki if it becomes that. If the official attitude is now "Darth Wiki is trolling", then just nuke it and stop pretending to keep it around but hide it and all of its content.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyBut we can get rid of it. If we're hiding the tropes from people to get them to stop using them, then there's no real point in hosting it.
If you don't care about 3,999 red links spontaneously appearing on the wiki by deleting the Wall Banger main to stop people from interacting with Darth Wiki, then deleting Darth Wiki is the most logical course of action.

Sugar Wiki links are a lower priority than Darth Wiki links, but they're still not supposed to be on the main page because they're usually just Gushing about how your favorite show is the So Cool Its Awesome Most Triumphant Example of every trope and so on.
Rhymes with "Protracted."^^But then people would post that stuff on the main wiki.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyHow, exactly?
Darth Wiki and all its tropes die.
The pages are already deleted or in the process of it, as well as locked and prevented from being recreated.
Just because the tropes to pothole to don't exist wouldn't make people not want to complain about shows they don't like.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWhy do they need a trope page to do that? They're already going to do that on the main wiki. If the tropes for permitting such are already being treated as if they don't exist, maintaining their existence is rather pointless. Making them all into red links that don't direct them to Darth Wiki just encourages them to natter up the main wiki.
But with Darth Wiki extant, some of these people will do their thing there instead of on the main wiki.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWhy should they? We're hiding Darth Wiki from them. Knowing what I do about how people use this wiki, red linked tropes vanish pretty fast, so there's no real way for anyone to know that they've got a Darth Wiki outlet, short of the link on the main page. Which they're going to ignore and just natter up the others.

Ah, but there is a way to find the Darth Wiki. You do have to have sharp eyes, though.
The Home Page has links to all the other official Home Pages. One of them is the Darth Wiki Home Page, This Exists. As long as that's there, a sufficiently determined person can get to the black pages.
Darth Wiki is also on the Just for Fun index with numerous other things, but someone's making that index hard to get to.
There is a fine line between recklessness and courage — Paul McCartneyThis discussion probably deserves its own thread.
edit: And yes, something drastic must be done if we're going to change the precedent.

Dethroning Moment of Suck, Wall Banger, and Fallen Creator have main redirects. Can they be locked and cut?
