Just tell him to smoke Newport.
"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZEDo they have those in non-menthol?
Absolutely not!
"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZEThen they are useless for our purposes.
And don't tell him to man up. Dude has a brain tumor.
Marlboro Reds.
"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZEHmmmm... Maybe.
He'll probably still have a problem with them, but hopefully those are okay.
Thanks.

Viceroys? Yikes, that's kind of an old dude brand alright. :P
I can't help much I guess, I smoke marlboro menthols.
If anyone turns this into an anti-smoking thread, I swear to god I'll find a way to facestab through the internet.
Yeah. Last thing we need right now is a bunch of moralizing about the ills of cigarettes.
Well, cigarettes are horrible mixtures of expired tobacco and artificial chemicals, with terrible health effects.
That's why cigars are better. The good ones have no recycled tobacco and (unless they are flavored or something) no added chemicals.
Also, they are both manlier and more dignified.
Dad is, unfortunately, very sensitive to minor changes in things like this. He smokes upwards to three packs a day and trying to change just about anything is really hard on him-he tends to be really spacey and cranky whenever he has to change anything :/
Cigars are unfortunately a no-go.
Smoking a cigar is reserved for special occasions, like the end of a deployment or a poker game.
"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZEWhen you have a malignant brain tumor, every day you're still alive is a special occasion.
But yeah-dad doesn't dig cigars.
Also: Fuck Governor Granholm and her GTA Vice Tax City crap. Impossible to find anything that isn't morbidly expensive...
^^
I like them for celebrating something, but I couldn't regularly smoke cigars.
Pipes!
They are delicious and nutrious.
Find some tasty sugar gold cavendish or my personal "high gentleman" blend and puff the night away on your well-used Kaywoodie.
He recently experimented with pipes. It ended badly. It seems nothing works with his unique psychology but what he's already used to :/
I've found that viceroys have a similar taste and mouthfeel as American Spirits, if I break the filters off of American Spirits.
^ That's what I was going to suggest. American Spirit blue pack — the full flavor.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I thought blues are usually menthol? He smokes non-menthol.
No.... I'm pretty sure the blue packs are full-flavor and greens are menthol...
All I know for sure are the yellow packs are the ultra-lights.
Blue pack is full-flavor, green pack is menthol full-flavor, orange pack is mid-light, yellow is ultra-light.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Thank you Madrugada for using the Internet for looking up information rather than trading photos of genetalia or captioned images of cats like the rest of us proles.

Thanks everyone. 'ppreciate it.
Actually, American Spirit is my brand of choice. I didn't have to look it up.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.For the record, Scrye. There are non-menthol Newports. It's just that one has to win the lottery to find them.

Another "Wonder if anyone on the internet can help me figure out something my dad wants to know" post.
My dad used to smoke Viceroys up north, and eventually moved down here to Florida where he smokes 305s. He finds that different brands taste differently, but ultimately there's basically 5 or 6 different flavors. Or something.
We're moving back up north in a couple months, and he wants me to figure out what brand of cigarette he'll need to be smoking up north-a discount brand, but something that smokes similar to his old Viceroys or the 305s. Anyone know anything?
