That's how USAF F-16s get from Hawaii to California anyways. 2 external fuel tanks + mid air refueling and you can easily make it to Hawaii or back.

I'll never complain about flying coach again. At least I can take a nap, read a book, get up, stretch and use the can if I have to.

OK, this will probably sound ridiculous, but is it possible for an F-16 with as many external fuel tanks and air-to-air missiles as it can possibly hold fly all the way from Hawaii to LA? Especially if the pilot is not actually concerned with landing it.
