Yeah, but if you spread it out (over an infinite area?) it's not useful, because of that whole entropy thing. I mean, if the universe is infinite then it already is that. If it's in a finite area, you'd get an infinitely massive black hole expanding forever at the speed of light... assuming relativity still works, but with infinite masses involved it probably wouldn't and everything would be sucked up instantly.
I know black holes don't "suck," but we're talking about creating boundless energy from nowhere, not turning the sun into a black hole of the same mass. As absurd as Gurren Lagann is, it's actually right about the spiral nemesis problem. Magical energy from nowhere is pretty dangerous if you don't have Sufficiently Advanced Aliens collecting and regulating the stuff.
...Well, apparently, it's pretty dangerous even with that. For them. Because they're jerks.

To be fair magic has to come from somewhere even if it from lifeforce entity or a Godlike being. Reality kind of sucks when it comes to magic in the Puella universe.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Well magic seems to come from the hopes and despair of souls with strong destinies. This makes humanity ideal. We all have emotions and we are a social species meaning that our destinies are tied together. Incubators don't work because they are emotionless and not really a social race. Kyubey is just a single person that controls a bunch of bodies. If he modified himself to have emotions that would work for purpose then he would end up changing his utility function and losing in the end. If he gave himself emotions that work with his utility function it still won't help as he won't despair at winning.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons. It'd be extra interesting if the power the Girls are tapping into is actually Spiral Power.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Puella Magi Suzune Magica has appeared on Hatchette Book's website (Yen Press is an imprint of Hatchette.)
I admit no-one here probably cares.

Looks like my wallet will be busy with Madoka spin-offs during the summer, heh.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)More like the rest of the year; Oriko Magica Extra Story releases this month, we'll finally see Tart Magica in April, the Rebellion manga in in June, and after that we get one Meguca manga a month until November...
...And we may still get something in November and December.
I've only just started Different Story. I want to get to them all.
Homura has murder in those eyes.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobShipping Wars....they can get ugly. Now add in Sakura and Tomoyo from Cardcaptors and we will have a party.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Tomoyo wouldn't start anything. She knows Sakura's the best, and that's all she needs.
Shipping Wars.......they can get ugly and sometimes we take it too far.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Well politics make people kind of stupid and even choosing a side of between rivals ships counts as politics to our brains.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Tomoyo would also film the fight.

"I will be strong, no matter how long it takes!"So are people forgetting that Fate and Nanoha at that point in the series are only about 9 or 10 years old?
Do we want to see a 15 year old beat up a 9 year old? I know you all think that Fate is no ordinary 9 year old, but with Homura's Time hax, I can picture him going back in time after learning Fate's powers then using Time-Freeze to make it impossible for her to transform at all.
Then again, if Fate was lucky, she could speed blitz Homura before that cold happen, only it still might not stop the latter.
I really do think the art style of Madoka makes people think they are younger than they really are.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah they don't look like they are 14/15. And of course Homura is actually 24 due to time travel so there is that.

When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons. How do you know Homura IS 24? She could be a hundred for all we know.
"I will be strong, no matter how long it takes!"Urobuchi said in an interview that Homura has been through about a hundred timelines. Each timeline is one month. I suppose that actually makes her 22/23 but certainly not a hundred.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Isn't that supposed to mean she's been through more or less a hundred, but not exactly a hundred timelines? Also, she was present when Madoka retconned the universe, so doesn't that make her as old as the universe?
"I will be strong, no matter how long it takes!"I still think Urobuchi was giving an off-the-cuff answer there.
I think it should count as canon, since he is the writer and there isn't anything that contradicts that. He also said that Homura had likely met Candeloro and Ophelia over the course of her timetraveling.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realI thought it would be someone else...
Oh God! Natural light!x14 I was thinking it would be more like this.
