If I were doing it, I'd just keep a camera phone and leave one of the data chips with a copy of the video on it.

I like the idea a lot though. It's cool, and it's also nice to see ordinary citizens (well, ones with backgrounds in MMA or military) trying to help fight crime.

Real-Life Superhero Fights Crime In US City. I've read about this sort of thing several times before and I have to say, it never gets old. I don't know how effective they are at fighting crime but they're certainly making the world more interesting.
