Will England and Spain have a New World baby?

I know it's a stupid title but I couldn't think of anything good and at least it's memorable.

It's meant to mean, in its own special way, will there be a merging of the cultures of the anglophone and hispanophone cultures on the American continent. To what degree has this happened already and how much does it need to happen and how far?

Will the Morlocks take over the Eloi, blah blah blah. That sort of deal.

You mean how those Yankee industrial Morlocks overtook the entirety of America, North, South and Central, including their Confederate brethren, and have been progressively imposing their standards, lagnuage, values, interests and weapons on every bucolic Eloim in the continent?

1. American Spanglish culture will influence Europe.
2. Britain and Spain will fuse, since English-language and Spanish-language cultures tend to fuse.

The OP didn't say either of those things. He didn't even talk about Europe.

I understand now.

USA citizens do not identify as Englishmen. I don't know if Latinos identify as Spanish, but I doubt it. It would be wrong, from my American perspective, to say that an American Spanglish culture is Britain + Spain = Spanglish.

Also, America was influenced by a lot more than just Western Europe.

He talked about the New World. Of which Fisman IslandNew York is an interesting example of mixing. Why do the USA feel threatened by Spanish culture in California, but not by, say, Jewish culture in New York?

I assume the title refers to the origins of those cultures, not to the cultures themselves.

Although American culture, at least, is Anglophone rather than actually English.

But it would be interesting if a culture globalization happened in America... THAT WASN'T ENITRELY USA-CENTRIC, with the only spanish influences being stupid stuff like food or clothes. You know, high culture: we have it in Spanish too.

^^^ The people who feel threatened by Hispanic culture encroaching on the USA are racists or working-class people. The racists hate Jews too (unless they're Jewish racists), and as for working class, it depends on the individual.

@Raw: The Jewish culture in New York by and large doesn't run drugs or human trafficking across the southern border, or rob/rape/murder/otherwise commit crimes against citizens on a daily basis. (That I'm aware of at least.)

There's practically a civil war going on in Mexico right now and you don't see why people have concerns over the southern border?

It did though, I mean look at Bugsy Siegal, Meyer lansky or Arnold Rothstein i.e. The creator of Mafia run vegas, the guy who ran with Batista and the guy who rigged the world series respectivly.
