-Trogg's face is a picture of delight, albeit one that would traumatize small children. Finally, somthing to punch, and will need to be punched really hard, too. The ogryn runs screaming at the killa kan, swinging his mekgrot around by its harness, before bringing it down on one of the contraption's legs.-

Indis regarded the incoming warpfire with bemusement, he was immune after all. Futo on the other hand, did not possess any such protection, and instinctively tried to gain altitude. Dismissing the boat, she floated upwards, ending up hovering slightly beneath the uppermost catwalks. She was completely oblivious to either Akusigos or the other orkz however, still focused on the weirdboy.

Taking a moment to calm herself, she proceeds to merely observe the light-show Arcturus had created. She also started contemplating what the ork just said. Did it mean "I'm superior" or "I'm a super ork"?

Indis lands gracefully on one of the catwalks, despite having been taken by surprise by the sudden disappearance of the boat. Whipping out his nuero-disruptor, he shoots at the weirdboy again, making a mental note to decapitate the ork'z corpse, just in case.

Ichisen was hit by the adhesive line and struggled to get a hold of her combat knife. However, she was too slow and was sent flying down towards the Kommando.

Sis! Hang on!

Jisen swooped down, bullets swishing and grabbed her captured sister. Saved from the Kommando's clutches for another second, that was all she needed to get a grip on her knife and start trying to cut the line. As her sister tried to become free, Jisen was forced to fly around in a limited circle while dodging the electric energy threatening to fry her should she do a wrong move.

Oh my, a literal pot calling the kettle black.

Quick and nimble, she ducked under the sawblade and ran underneath the big walker, easily getting past the slow-moving metal legs. She then took out the recently charged magic card.

Let us roast you well and truly black. Scarlet Devil.

The familiar tower of burning scarlet magic flared up, her aura attempting to burn past the underbelly and roast the pilot alive. Failing that, the fiery magic threatened to heat up the metal walker and damage its interiors.

" Rahahahaharhar, dat's funny gurlie, but-Wha?! YEOWCH!"

- The Killa Kan hopped from one foot to the other, arms flailing frantically, as its central body burned red with heat. It took a few lumbering steps backward, eager to put some distance between itself and the hellion beneath it. -

" Yooz gonna pay fer dat!"

- Its "face" now an angry grimace, the mechanical monster aimed its plasma cutter at Remilia and fired it, strafing back and forth.

CLUNK

The Kan looked down to see that Ogryn was whacking away at its leg with a mekgrot. A small dent appeared on the appendage. The Kan lifted its stumpy leg, then stepped forward, aiming to crush the silly brute where he stood. -

" WAAAAAAAAAAAA-YAAAAAAAAG Hbblblblblblbl ARGH!"

- Arcturus's idea was on the nose. Electrical energies sizzled and pulsed across the Weirdboy's body, so that he floated in place while twitching horribly. Gravikka's hand around the Pole spasmed open, releasing the device. The Nob hadn't finished reeling from the attack when his brain took another palpable blow. He opened his toofy maw wide in a silent scream, warpfire and lightning randomly zapping forth from his fingertips and boots. -

"Zazazazazazazazazaza-ZOG OFF."

- Though singeing, burns, and various other bloody wounds marred Gravikka's body, the Ork felt alive and strong. The WAAAGH! was with him, and it gave him Power. He no longer needed that silly Concentration Pole. Now he could rend the Inquisitor and the Eldar blank apart. Having inadvertently floated closer to the Main Generator gave him quite the backlighting. -

" I Am Complete. YOU Will Be In PIECES! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!"

- Gravikka threw out a hand towards Indis, and a volley of green fireballs zoomed from the palm, each of them melting the gridwork where it struck. Towards Arcturus, the power-crazed Greenskin crooked a singed finger. An irresistable force began to pull on him like a hook, dragging him against the doorframe and towards the edge of the booth's platform. Behind him, the two Kommandos gawked, looked at each other, and then advanced on the Inquisitor, terrible teeth grinning and fists readied to punch him into oblivion.

Meanwhile, the Kommando below struggled with the Rabbit Sisters, hopping around in an effort to pull at least one of the girls within reach. A couple seconds of this made him impatient, however, and he pulled another knife from his kit. The Schneaky Boy chuckled to himself. -

" Looks loike Oi'z gonna 'ave me sum rabbit stew today!"

- The beast then pulled at the same time he lunged, knife slicing wildly.

Meanwhile, the mekgrot crews began to make their way to another set of damaged consoles, tools working in their hands... -

Arcturus made a strange, surprised sound that was largely unintelligible (though if transcribed, it would probably look a lot like "nyerp") as he was pulled toward the edge by the Weirdboy's sorcery.

He scrambled for a handhold, and found purchase in the control booth's shattered window frame. It must have looked rather bizarre for him to dangle like that horizontally, but the sheer weirdness factor in this powerplant was already astronomical, it didn't matter too much.

While now unable to actually attack the Weirdboy, the Inquisitor's new predicament had an unexpected upside: He could now see the Kommandos that were moving towards him. Thanks to the power armour, dangling from one arm wasn't too much trouble, and it left his free hand to snap up and pop off a series of bolt rounds at these aggressors.

Futo was jolted out of her thoughts by the weirdboy's latest statement. Not due to the content, but the coherency with which it was uttered. Pulling out a bow with one hand and manifesting an arrow danmaku in the other, she takes aim at the base of the weirdboy's neck and lets the arrow fly.

"Fie. I may be forced to start a fire if this keeps up."

Indis registered how the neuro-disruptor had failed to dispatch the weirdboy. Walking calmly over to one of the consoles, he picks up one of the grots and throws him towards the weirdboy's face, all in one quick motion. It was a perfect throw, the grot sailing in an elegant arc. However, it wouldn't work as anything other than a distraction.

Leaping towards the weirdboy, Indis attempts to puncture the orkz' thick forehead with his harlequin's kiss. All the weirdboy would see however, was the eldar's image scattered everywhere in the room.

Akusigos was in awe of the detail put into generator room's catwalk, it's only blemish being the hole scorched through it, most likely by a recent battle. It was truely a shame that fate had ordained this station to be contaminated with xenos filth, If only... Akusigos was snapped back into reality by the shouting of Orks behind him, the Techpriest whirled around to face the greenskins, and after taking a second to assess the strength of his foes, aimed his meltagun at the Nob's body and fired, hoping that taking down the biggest would put the smaller orks in disarray.

Drake fell inelegantly to the ground in a heap, as he had not expected Sakuya's intervention. He scrabbled on to his back, and the Guardsman's eyes widened in alarm as he saw who was responsible (and Corollianus aiming a handgun at his head). Words stumbled out of his mouth in an uneven jumble as his brain tried to catch up with his racing tongue. "Look, you... I mean..."

Any further excuses died in his throat as Corollianus launched into a severe (but ultimately truthful) dressing down. The Guardsman averted his gaze. It was just like being back in his regiment, with the instructors providing a brutal and exacting account of every transgression and what should have been done. This was not a proud moment; even his father, ever jovial, would be scolding him. He had let down himself and the Lycetta name, but that was not the worst of it.

He had let everyone else down, too. But the arrival of the Killa Kan heralded a far more important problem than his failure. Nodding slowly to Corollianus, he spoke with a disheartened - but steady - tone. "Yes, sir."

He then returned his attention to the silver haired woman. "I'm sorry, but if you'll excuse me I'm going back to the firing line." Gently he tried to get Sakuya off of himself.

Sakuya could see the fright and fatigue in Drake's eyes. Not for the first time since he joined their crew, she felt somewhat sorry for the young pilot. Still, he was a soldier and a man of the Imperium. She relinquished her grip on him as he seemed to accept his duty, but decided to keep a closer look on him as the battle raged.

Remilia charged towards the Kan again. She only had half of the Spell Card's duration left, and she had to make the most out of it. Her magic wouldn't recharge in time for a consecutive Spell Card. Luckily, the plasma cutter's movements were slow and linear to her trained eye. Compared to a Gensokyo curved or forked laser, this opponent's attacks were too simple.

Elegance in battle is a virtue. Remember this as you are reduced to ashes.

She leapt forward and to the side, the laser following her and trying to cut her off. Just before it was in danger of touching her, however, she somersaulted back over it and charged past it. Before the operator had time to react, she was underneath him again, unleashing the infernal heat of the Scarlet Devil, and stabbing at the underside with the Gungnir.

Duck!

Ichisen reacted immediately, and could feel a faint hiss as the Ork's knife passed only scarce centimetres above her head. Jisen had burned the last of her magic to adjust their course so that the Ork's attack missed, and they both landed on the floor feet first.

The fight had now taken a dramatic turn. The adhesive line was still attached to Ichisen, but it was almost cut. However, Jisen was out of magic and Ichisen only had last night's reserves of magic. Jisen drew her weapons, keeping the antique pistol in her right hand and her combat knife in her left. Ichisen sensed this and drew her own pistol. They sized up their opponent, waiting for the Ork to make the first move. His next move could become his last...or deal any of them a killing blow.

Docking Port

"Wor?! Leggo uf me, yoo schtupid— WOH!"

- Arms flailing and faceplate bearing a comical expression of panic, the Killer Kan lost its balance. This was fortunate for the grot inside, as Remilia's strike had only a limited time to have their effect. Still, an effect was had. The right side of its face and chassis was now burnt black, parts of it buckling under the additional stress. The metal giant keeled over backward upon the rubble-strewn hallway floor, impacting with a resonant CLONG. Almost immediately it began flailing about again like a monstrous beetle on its back. -

" Zog! Zog! Zogzogzogzogzogzogzogzogzog... HELP ME, YOO ZOGGIN' IDIOTS!"

- In the course of its panic, it smacked the plasma cutter on the floor; the weaponised tool discharged a searing plume of starfire at the junior Inquisitor. Simultaneously, the heavy bolter roared on its arm, wildly flinging bolt shells every which way. Meanwhile, the mekgrots closest to the action (about five or so) hesitantly scurried forward and onto the Kan's chassis, beginning the work of welding weaknesses closed and reinforcing plates. A few more of them labored with their bionik-enhanced strength to prop up their fallen colleague.

->Five minu- -stimated until arrival...<-

Central Power Plant

" You Believed That A Complete Being Feared Your Brittle Toys?"

- The mekgrot stopped in midair mere feet away from Gravikka's face, waving at the Weirdboy with a terrified expression. Usually a grot only entered a Nob's consciousness as a series of verbal statements and commands, most having to do with getting out of the way and handing over stuff. They were, in a way, beneath notice. Gravikka's eyes focused squarely on the tiny cyborg, and the grot did not like the contemptuous clarity within them one bit. The poor creature flew squealing over the Nob's shoulder with a finger-twitch, vanishing into the worsening plasmatic maelstrom around the Main Generator. Distraction dealt with, the Weirdboy held up a hand and narrowed his eyes. -

"Thought I Would Fall For Your Parlor Tricks Twice In A Row."

- Gravikka snapped his arm up and caught the Harlequin's weapon in the palm of his hand. The limb began to glow red and sizzle from the extreme heat, but its owner stared unflinchingly at the Eldar. Suddenly, the Nob broke out into a manic grin not unlike one found on the face of an angry primate in the jungles of ancient Terra. The Weirdboy yanked back with his burning hand, then smashed his fist on the Solitaire's head. It looked as though the brute was about to punch his way into Indis's chest, and perhaps monologue on the joys of flattening an Eldar with one's bare fists, when the Gensokyoan woman struck. Gravikka's neck exploded in a mix of blood, flesh and a little bone, and the Greenskin snarled his displeasure. What a nuisance. -

"You Wanted My Attention, Fool, And Now You HAVE It! Have This Ruffian Too While You Are About!"

- The Weirdboy bellowed as he flung Indis towards Futo at meteoric speeds.

Being in the present condition that he was, Arcturus's shots had hit the unsuspecting Greenskins dead on. They lurched back... and promptly opened fire with their stubbers. Fortunately (or not), the damage Gravikka suffered distracted him from the elder Inquisitor, and his hold on the man relinquished. -

" WAAAAGHARHARHARHARHAR!!!"

- So close, so very close. Just as the Rabbit girls considered this skirmish a matter of life and death, so too did the Kommando hacking away at them. It was a very simple matter, after all. He would live, and they would shortly be made into mincemeat. Laughing uproariously, the Greenskin picked a girl Ichisen and lunged, aiming to jam the weapon through her ribs, followed by manic slicing until nothing moved.

Far above on the catwalks, Akusigos's shot struck true, melting the Nob in half. The combination of the beast hitting the floor and the tremendous heat from the melta did not do wonders for the catwalk's structural integrity. Its metal groaned ominously, as the remaining Orkz stared dumbfounded at their leader's burning remains. Then the moment passed, and the Greenskins thundered forward. Beneath Akusigos's boots, the floor began to give way... -

The blood-loss was starting to affect the youngest Scarlet a bit sooner than she expected. She merely managed to stumble out of the way of the Kan's attacks as it swung at her and the group. Despite her light-headedness she tried to get her focus under control. She balled her remaining fist as she took a deep breath and steadied her feet, turning to the toppled machine.

She watched as a few grots actually managed to build up the courage, or stupidity, to try and help in the middle of the battle. Now that wasn't fair at all, her sister was doing a fine job of taking it on by herself. Flandre decided that she might as well lend her own helping hand in this manner.

Her hand started glowing red as she braced herself, making a claw shape with her fingers. Without any warning she kicked off of the ground and flew at the Kan. She would zoom past it and use her claw to rip a mekgrot off of it*

before flying past. Then she would kick off of the wall and zoom back across the Kan and rip off another. She'd keep this pattern up, removing the little gits one by one until he was out of allies..

Futo felt a certain measure of satisfaction at scoring a hit on the weirdboy. That quickly disappeared however when the ork decided it would be a good idea to throw Indis at her.

Quickly moving out of the way, she looked on with concern as Indis grabbed onto the catwalk's railing. Summoning her boat once more, she let out a relieved sigh as Indis hopped on. She couldn't resist commenting on what had just transpired however.

"For someone who once walked the path of awakening, thou hast shown a surprising lack of awareness.", she quipped.

"I realize, and it is entirely due to my own negligence that this happened." Indis replied before continuing, "Now, help me push that degenerate into the generator."

Merely nodding her assent, Futo begins enlarging her boat. First a mast with sails erupts in the middle, followed by ceramic plating covering the entire hull. A second deck forms underneath the duo's feet, with the hull having become big enough to accommodate one. In the end the boat is left looking more like a small, heavily armored ship than a boat, albeit one that still floated in mid air. The prow of the boat changes form as well, turning into the head of an elaborately carved dragon.

With merely a hand gesture from Futo, the newly formed ship begins descending with surprising speed. It was soon directly above Gravikka, though it attempted to give the generator some space, leaving Gravikka with a bit more wriggle room on that side.

Zee was beyond any thought of self-preservation at that moment, and made only a token effort to dodge as the Killa Kan swept its buzzsaw arm at her. The whirring blade caught the Living Saint across her already damaged helmet and flung her away, sheering away ceramite, flesh and bone in a blow that would have left a human on the verge of death if not killed them outright, and disfigured anyone tough enough to survive such a vicious attack for life.

But she was not human, and had not been for a long time.

Zee flipped in midair, touching down on the deck with her hands and feet. She lifted her head, revealing that the entire left half of her faceplate had been torn off; within the rent her mangled visage was already reforming, veins and muscle growing across restored bone like a time-lapsed image of a carpet of moss spreading across a forest floor. Her teeth were clearly visible, shockingly white and clean in contrast to her mangled features, and as her lips reformed her expression became clear.

She was smiling. No, not smiling—grinning with sadistic, malevolent glee.

The vampire tensed and sprung, hurling herself at the prone Kan with so much force that the deck cratered beneath her feet as she jumped. She landed feet first atop the walker’s chassis, that skull-shaped plate cracking and deforming under the impact; and dropping to all fours like a beast, Zee lifted one arm overhead and drove it straight down with all her might.

The Living Saint’s gauntleted hand punched clean through the Kan’s reinforced shell, stopping scant inches from the eyes of the grot contained within.

She pulled her arm free, took hold of the hole’s edges with both arms and pulled, ripping the walker’s carapace wide open as if it were made of tissue paper. And with the greenskin thus exposed, she reached down with one hand and grabbed it by the throat.

“Scream for me,” she purred, and set it ablaze with violet flame.

Arcturus clattered against the wall underneath the booth window as gravity righted itself, pulling himself up with a grunt as stub rounds from the wounded kommandos pockmarked his power armour. When he'd lifted himself up and through the booth window, he flung himself at them without so much as drawing a weapon, having expended his bolt pistol's magazine while dangling from the edge.

He barreled into the first ork with a snarl, knocking the greenskin over - sidestepped a bayonet strike from the second, intercepted the follow-up blow by grabbing the weapon around its crude handguard with one hand and diverting it away from himself. His bionic hand, he jammed into the ork's eyesocket, the back of its head exploding as the Inquisitor fired the needle weapon built into the artificial limb.

The ork he had knocked over wasn't finished yet, however. It lifted its weapon while laying on the ground and fired another burst, this one catching the Inquisitor's back directly. Three of the five rounds bounced off the abused ceramite, two still penetrated and impacted against the Inquisitor's shoulder blade, making him stumble forward, gasping in pain before he scooped up the fallen ork's weapon and tossed it at the prone ork like a javelin - embedding the cruel blade serving as a bayonet in its skull.

He ran a gauntleted hand over the wound on his back, and as expected, there was a significant amount of blood. The suit's autosystems were compensating, though, injecting painkillers and dispensing blood-clotting agents to the compromised area. He was still breathing, and he wasn't about to keel over yet - so the Inquisitor promptly put this inconvenience out of his mind, instead surveying the battlefield.

The Rabbits were still engaged and holding. The Eldar and the unknown Gensokyoan woman were in some amount of trouble. Was that Akusigos and Leona the Inquisitor spied over on the walkway?

Excellent. Her firepower would be required. His commbead should still work at this range.

"Leona. Target the greenskin psyker, the one by the... big flying boat, hit him with everything you have."

If the Eldar and that woman was caught in the barrage then so be it - the Weirdboy's death was paramount.

Caught by surprise, Remilia was forced to raise a heavy magical shield to take the plasma blast. When it finally dissipated, she was happy to see that Zee had joined the assault on the Kan. The combat mech was as good as done now that Zee had the pilot under control. Remilia took the Gungnir and went to work neutralizing the plasma cannon and heavy bolter, while Sakuya took care of the clean-up by sniping the mekgrots that were climbing on the mech.

The Kommando's knife cleanly entered between Ichisen's ribs, finding a weak point in her armour. He could feel the meaty resistance as he brought it up to cut through her internal organs, hacking away at her vital spots and tearing through the Stormtrooper armour as if it was like paper.

His savage pleasure, however, was abruptly cut short as his victim vanished into thin air, leaving no trace. In the brief, confused moment that followed, his arms were bound to his torso by his own adhesive line, constricting his movements. And in the next, a gun barrel rested against his left temple and a sharp knife-blade lay on his throat.

Reflection Art. Rabbit Illusion.

Ichisen and Jisen had moved like one in the brief moment Ichisen's magical decoy had given them, and even though Ichisen had spent her last magic reserves on that, she needed none to fire her immaculately maintained handgun. In an instant, the gun fired and the knife slashed across the Kommando's throat.

Docking Port

One by one, the occupied mekgrots fell, picked off at high speeds by the Scarlet sisters with squeals of alarm. None were quite as surprised as Morko though when the Living Saint punched her way through the Kan’s damaged plating like it was cheap plaster. The hardwired green beast writhed around in its seat, the Kan’s arms flailing frantically. “ Wot da—Ackgh! Lemmegolemmegolemme-AAAAAIEEGH! STUPID HUMIE BIMBO, GEDDOUTTA ME FACE! AAAAAAAAAGH!

Screaming or silent, the grot continued to flail all of its arms, aiming to crush anything and everything near it in its death throes. Even as Remilia cut into the machine's ranged weapons with her spear, the devices could still be used as savage clubs. Compounding the peril was the damage done by Zee's flames, which were causing the Kan's reactor to violently overheat. Meanwhile, more mekgrots and their larger cousins scrambled into the hallway, firing with abandon.

All in all, thought Sergeant Corollianus as he blasted another volley alongside Drake, the situation did not look like it would end pleasantly. Then...

-Kzzzz-Arrival imminent. Prepare for reinforcements. Keep away from the entry point.-

A resounding CLAK rang out from the docking room, the sound of magnetic clamps attaching to the hull. Were any to look into the place, a black hatch blocked off the spot where there had once been void and stars. A moment later, the hatch swung down to slam upon the floor, and a swarm of black shapes sped across the threshold. These shapes skidded into the hall, about a dozen of them at first, then twice that number, all of them Stormtroopers in their best armour. Each of them flung down a sandbag onto the floor into a stack (in front of the two troopers already present), then brought their hellguns to bear on the other end of the hallway. -

-"54th TIRAXUS STORMTROOPERS ARE HERE! REQUEST THAT YOU MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, LADIES."-

There was a second's pause, and then the whole platoon let loose a storm of laser fire with a continuous crack of mechanical thunder. Dozens of greenskins fell in seconds, scythed down under the hellguns. As the Stormtroopers fired, the Killa Kan's reactor reached the end of its tether. With its dying breath, the grot spat out of the hole, and then it vanished into the fire. Gouts of white hot flame roared from rents in the walker's plating, followed by a final clamourous explosion which tore holes into right-hand wall. What greenskins were left fled. The officer in charge of the relief spoke up, into the smoke and fire. -

-"Check weapons-fire. INQUISITORS?"-

Central Power Plant

"What In Gork's Name Do You Primitives Think You Are... No... You Would Not Be So Stupid As To-AAAAAAAGH!"

- Massive as Gravikka's power had become, the sheer size of the vessel hurtling towards him was overwhelming. He raised a hand to block the prow, applying his psychic might to his fingertips. The ship decelerated by a few degrees but did not stop, bearing down on the Weirdboy like a collapsing building. Psychic power or no, it was pushing him back towards the Generator foot by foot with its momentum. Gravikka threw a glance over his shoulder at the crackling arcs of electricity. Infusing his burnt hand with power, the greenskin slammed it into the boat also. This proved enough to slow the boat down considerably, though it still pushed the alien by inches towards his electric doom.

It was still not enough to save him. This close, the lightning field whipped and pawed at Gravikka with tendrils of plasma, like a beast of the abyss trying to reel in prey. It peeled off armour and skin with every blow, until a solid bolt struck the greenskin in the centre of his back. The shock and pain combined to disrupt his concentration, and his power broke. The ship slammed into him at full momentum with a meaty THWACK, sending the Weirdboy spinning backward, into the maelstrom with a strangled yell. A flash of green light, and he was so much smoke and atoms.

Nothing this big was ever meant to be this close to the Generator aside from the insulated rods. A bolt of lightning whipped out and struck the ship's mast, setting its sails alight in that instant. Fire engulfed the mast, roaring like some enraged beast. Another CRACK, and the deck burned with white-blue flames. Once more, that croaky digitised voice rang out, adding new words to its warning.

In the control booth, both Ork Kommandos were dead. In its death throes, however, the greenskin impaled through the head fired its wrist stubber. Its shots ricocheted off the metal floor, off the ceiling, and buried themselves in the primary console with a shower of sparks. The entirety of Persepolis shook, this time more violently. Another level of klaxons joined the din, this one a keening, ongoing squeal which almost drowned out the public address warnings. The Generator itself shuddered on its foundations as it opened up in geodesic portions which angled and curved weirdly, the lights running through it blazing an angry red. Steam jetted from portions far below as the machine frantically tried to cool itself.

Amongst the catwalks, the mekgrots moved at a feverish pace. They paid the fate of the last Kommando no mind, simply working faster and priming their rivet guns. If they didn't cut enough things, then this station would be a heaping pile of radioactive space dust. In the process, their labours sent arc after arc of power racing down towards the rabbit girls, racing over the metal like a pack of ravening wolves...-

Sensing the floor beginning to give way beneath him and the situation with the reactor growing dire, Akusigos swore under his breath and broke into a run towards the gap in the catwalks, building up speed to clear it. Upon reaching the gap, the Techpriest leaped across it and, landing on the other side, took half a second to collect himself and then began to sprint towards the control room, moving as fast as he possibly could, both bionic and organic parts of him working overtime.

Amidst the smoking, scorched ruins of the Killa Kan, a figure slowly stood. Zee straightened, her crimson Sororitas armour blackened and burning from the explosion. Shoulders hunched, chest rising and falling with every breath, the vampiric Living Saint reached up and tore off her helmet, letting the ruined and useless thing clatter to the floor. She was breathing heavily, panting like she’d just run a marathon or been through a warzone, her golden hair dishevelled and gleaming with sweat.

She had her back to the stormtroopers and did not acknowledge them in any way, perhaps not fully aware of their presence just yet. As such, they could not see her face.

Remilia and Flandre might, though, depending on precisely how close they were. If they did, they would be able to witness the wide, exhilarated grin on her lips, and might catch a subtle gleam of vivid violet light from her dilated irises…

The moment Gravikka was vaporized was one of relief for Futo. Sighing, she turned to address the flames that surrounded her.

"Fire huh... Well, no matter, as long as it is not warpfire, I can deal with it."

Stamping her foot once, the boat instantly shrank back to it's regular size. Navigating away from the generator, she examined her boat. Lifting her hand, she siphoned off the remaining flames, forming a orb in her palm. It shone with a lively, bluish glow. With a flick, she sent it towards the barricade the guardsmen had erected before being slaughtered. The construct immediately went up in flames.

With the flames dealt with, she started flying towards Arcturus and the control booth.

When the vessel had caught fire, Indis had immediately taken it as an invitation to abandon ship.

In one grand leap, he bounded over to the control booth. Turning around to address the inquisitor, ha said, "Well, it would seem the greenskin is dead, so I have granted your request of helping you kill him. I'll be leaving now, this station will likely not last much longer."

As he finished his statement and turned to leave, Futo landed in the control booth as well.

"My lord, the passage with which thou entered this chamber, leadst it to thy companions?"

As she posed the question, Indis had embarked on the boat which Futo had conveniently left parked by the control booth. With impressive dexterity, he handled the device attached to the prow. A moment later, both the boat and the Eldar disappeared into a blue portal.

It was with no small degree of relief Remilia welcomed the newly arrived Stormtroopers. Had the battle gone on for much further, they might not have been able to make it without further serious injuries or casualties. The combined injuries and fatigue had left her right arm temporarily out of commission, so she raised her left to hail the Stormtrooper commander.

I am Inquisitor Scarlet. Inquisitor Arcturus is through the opening there, securing the reactor.

She leaned on her spear, trying to take stock. They had taken some hits, she could tell. Everyone was tired, Flandre was still down one arm and Zee...now that the dust had settled somewhat, Remilia could finally start to assess her condition, and it worried her. Some bloodlust or berserker symptoms were not unusual on confused battlefields, especially for long-time veterans like the current immortal members of the retinue. But that smile...and the gleam in her eyes...it made Remilia shiver. She activated her comm-bead for the nearby units.

Everyone, we'll take a moment to check for injuries before we move on. Sakuya, see to my sister.

Remilia approached Zee, somewhat carefully.

Zee, how are you feeling? Any serious injuries?

Meanwhile, Sakuya, too tired to fly and without enough magic to stop time, walked over to Flandre. The younger sister had received a heavy injury, and was looking paler than usual. Sakuya took out a pack of blood, offering it to her mistress.

Well fought, mistress. How is your injury? Shall I ask the medic for anything?

Ichisen and Jisen were running for their lives, trying to dodge the massive sparks heading their way. They'd finally managed to get rid of the line, but their magic reserves were empty and they wouldn't be able to recover it for some time. And the reactor was going crazy!

Ah! It's Akusigos!

Let's follow him! He'll know where it's safe!

The two sisters raced up the stairs and over the catwalks, also heading for the control room.

Arcturus could see and feel the Greenskin psyker die, and he didn't know which was more satisfying; the sight of the electric arcs turning the creature into charcoal, or the last confused spasms of its psychic presence.

Watching the same happen to the moon rabbits he'd been entrusted with would be less than ideal, however. He waved both them, Leona and the... "civilian" over as they approached the control booth. He grimaced behind his helmet as the bullets still embedded in his back made their presence felt, but blotted it out. He vaguely considered simply shooting Indis in the back as he walked away, decided against it, and instead started to speak.

"We can't stay here. Radiation levels are rising, my armour's been breached, and nobody here except for Akusigos and Leona have the protection necessary to stay."

He turned his head to look at Akusigos as he worked.

"Hence, you're staying, and will be regrouping with us afterwards."

He wasn't entirely sure Akusigos was even listening. Even if he wasn't, it didn't take a genius to figure what Arcturus had tried to say. Therefore, instead of trying to make himself clear, Arcturus directed everyone else towards the control booth bulkhead door leading back to Remilia's group, and closed it behind him. He didn't engage the magnetic seals, though. He wasn't intending to trap the techpriest inside, after all.

Once the bulkhead was shut, the Inquisitor removed his helmet and sighed. A trickle of blood was running down his cheek from his forehead. Perhaps from when he got shook around so much during their entry to the station.

"I really do hope he can fix this," he murmured to nobody in particular as they walked back towards Remilia's group. He took Futo aside, though, speaking to her as they walked. There was not a hint of humor in his voice, and his face betrayed nothing.

"Now then. First of all: Who are you? And what were you doing with that xeno? I advise you not to lie. Bad things happen to people who lie to me."

Not resisting as she was taken aside, Futo licked her lips as she formed her response. Pulling out a plate from her sleeve, she caressed it while replying, "I... My name is Mononobe no Futo. I... am a hermit. A follower of Daoism. The Eldar burst into the chamber not long after we sent the distress call. The weirdboy followed not long after. It burnt to ash the last remaining guardsmen, including Ptolemy, before turning to me. After a brief discourse, the two of us agreed to cooperate against the greenskins. This was shorty before we witnessed thine entrance, and that of the youkai."

Looking slightly better now that she had answered, Futo decided to simply wait for whatever reply was forthcoming.

Flandre slid to the side as the stormtroopers let loose down the hall on the remaining greenskins, dropping them fairly quickly. Flandre wasn't exactly happy to see them, as the adrenaline still running through her body was telling her to keep fighting. Without any targets left, she was just left feeling anxious and frustrated. She had no choice at this point but to stand still and calm down. This caused her injuries to catch up with her, and her knees to wobble a bit.

She looked over at where the Orks' bodies were as Sakuya approached her. She turned her head to look at the maid and the blood pack. She tried reaching for it, but didn't realize at first that she was reaching with the wrong arm. She let out a flustered sigh as she took her helmet off and grabbed the pack with her remaining arm. Her teeth sunk into the pack and it was drained in no time at all. When she was done, she dropped the back and looked up at Sakuya. "Is that it? Is that all of them?" She asked, sounding a little disappointed.
