People put it into their computer's CD drive and it works that way.
Or cheating.
I dunno. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.I just found out that the reward for beating all the Zodiac Monsters in DS is for your rancher to have◊ sex◊ with◊ every woman in the cast except Cleo. (It even plays the music when you rest a monster.)
Rated E for Everyone!
The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm 3 years into the arduous process of raising a Worm into a Beaklon.
EDIT: Mission complete! They grow up so fast◊...

1 is getting ported sometime this year, no platforms yet announced.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."*presents game cartridge* Yes FBI, this game here.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Well hell I'm surprised Tecmo still remembers this franchise exists.
2's still the best one though.
Bleye knows Sabers.Monster Rancher port slated for Switch, iOS, and Android
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I wonder how they'll generate monsters without C Ds. Other games have used words and drawings.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I was about to say "use Blu-Rays", but then I noticed the above post.
Maybe barcode scans via some kind of tool/code you can put in? Like a unique camera website scan trick or something.
It seems easy on Android, at least.

...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I was thinking more on Switch. Maybe it'll read cartridge data? (They've also used DV Ds before.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.I know you can't even play music CD's on the Wii U. Did Monster Rancher ever come to the Wii or Wii U, as they at least had the technology to read DVD and music CD's.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol. They could just make it into "type in a random code".
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less. All that sounds like a subpar replacement honestly.
Scanning discs to get monsters is, like, the greatest video game gimmick of all time.
Bleye knows Sabers.I mean... look at pokemon on the DS which already does exactly what they need by scanning random QR codes. My only issue with the scanning problem is that unlike back when the game was first out, we could just now go online and get whatever we want so I hope there is some RNG based on your device.
I do miss those days where you hear playground rumours of a super secret monster if you try putting the men in black soundtrack in.
MR1 was kinda weird in the secret monster aspect in that only ??? unlockable monsters were available from CD that way, meaning you had to go get the combination items every time you wanted a new Henger unless you had its ??? CD. Thankfully later games changed that mechanic so unlockables of all kinds were on CD and just needed to be unlocked.

- In celebration of the magical series’ 25th anniversary, Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX brings the wildly popular simulation games to modern hardware where players raise their own monsters and train them to compete against other eccentric creatures in combat and tournaments. With hundreds of different monster types, each with their own skills and abilities, every Rancher will be able to raise and train monsters that are a perfect fit for their personality and play style. The special collection also includes content that was never originally featured in the original Western release, such as additional save slots, Freeze slots, and Monster Hall of Fame slots. New features have also been added to Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX, including a memo feature to use while raising monsters, rankings for random battles, and a high-speed mode to play through the game faster. The Monster Rancher series originally launched with a unique feature that allowed players to use physical C Ds to generate monsters in the game, with each CD having a unique ID that would spawn a different monster. This feature has been re-worked in Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX, allowing players to search a database to find their desired CD and generate a monster from its data. Enjoy searching a vast database of songs from around the world and generating monsters based off of some of your favorite music!
