So here begins Kanda and Johnny's Excellent Adventure, I suppose.

Kanda's sociopathy never fails to amuse me.

The two of them have potential to create a great comedic duo.

Chapter was really short for monthly manga though.

Honestly by working for the Black Order and not being an Exorcist or in the current Science division they deserved it.

Agreed. 90% of Black Order sucks.

I loled when in previous chapter he told Lenalee that she got ugly.

Johnny is in for tough trip

You know the Black Order is just bad at their job. The Earl has proved time and time again that he can squash the Order in a second but for some reason stays his hand. Maybe they know his real plan and all this stuff actually helps them? I don't know.

Not only is Order incompetent, their ethics are so questionable that the only resdon they are the "good guys" is because their opponent is alosm litelarly The Devil

I mean Levellie is sporting a Hitler mustache! How much more do you need?

I could handwave their ethics if they were good at their jobs.

Mindwiping anyone who quits kind of seems like overkill. I mean, who are they trying to hide from? It's not like The Earl has even the slightest amount of trouble finding them.

Or just grabbing anyone he wants at any point in time. They are terrible at their job.

Why hasn't the Earl destroyed them already is about the biggest question in the series.

You can't really blame the Black Order for the lack of effectiveness. The Earl is just too powerful. Ethics aside, their methods don't seem to be inefficient or anything. In fact, just their level or global organization and cohesion is a sing of competency in itself.

I like how little regard Kanda has for Black Order Authorities.

He walks in, takes his sword back, walks out and decides to go search for Allen.
