"I have no idea where we are, but some of the others say we've been trapped here to entertain some godlike beings." Alastor said, rather casually.
"I guess things have come to freely pass then." Daido said, sitting on a chair next to Alastor.
"What's that supposed to mean? Let me guess, something related to kind of prophecy where you come from?" Alastor asked, continuing to sharpen the blade, though he was starting to quiet down a bit.
"To begin, an exchange of technology. Doom has—ah, it is complete."
The hologram reached out with one arm to grab something from offscreen, disappearing momentarily; when it came back, it was holding a metal cylinder of some sort in one hand. Doom examined the cylinder, turning it over with the utmost care; it was gunmetal grey and utilitarian in design, save for green circuit lines that were, for the moment, inert and dead.
"A rather fascinating device, that alien's weapon," the monarch went on. "Its energy blade seems capable of cutting through most materials with little to no difficulty, and as it is not composed of solid matter the edge never dulls—and indeed, it hardly matters which edge you strike with as the beam is perfectly cylindrical. A curious paradox, is it not—a sword that has no edge whatsoever, yet is simultaneously nothing but an edge."
The Danse Macabre CodexKerrigan strolled out of her chamber and looked around. She spotted the large door with the Decepticon symbol on it and strolled over to it. She raised up her hand and knocked on the door with her knuckle.
"Nah. Just an odd saying." Daido said, staring up at the ceiling.
— The door to the lair opened, and Shockwave peered down on the Queen of Blades with a curious optic. The deep, monotone voice echoed from further inside. —
Ten Cycles. Your Speed Is Appreciated. What Sort Of Device Is This?
— Shockwave pulled back from the door slightly. —
— Above the gap on the second floor, the air begins to fluctuate, artificial winds whipping into existence. —
"It is pretty odd, it's like you're setting someone up for something vague and mysterious, then you walk away without explaining anything." Alastor said, chuckling a bit.
"Though the reactions you could get are priceless!"
Huron watched impassively as the villains gradually began to form into teams against one another. For now, he resolved, he would work on no team and serve no one... and when the time struck he would turn the teams against one themselves and rise like a dark pheonix from the anarchy.

-Zod approached Blackheart-
"What is the reason behind your extreme hatred of 'aliens'?"
Kerrigan held up an organism in her hand. It was cylindrical with a hole in the top, teeth around the rim of the opening, and two eyes bugging out of the sides. In its mouth was a crystal. "This is an Ihan Crystal. When you wish to glimpse the knowledge you simply touch the crystal. A word of warning though, make sure you have some time in your schedule if you plan on using it."
Huron smiled. "No hatred, xeno, simple logic. Humans are inherently superior to beings like yourself, and we are of course the chosen race of the Chaos Gods."
"Inherently superior? Nonsense. Kryptonians exceed humans in every possible way. I say this not in boast, it is fact. And tell me, where were your gods when you were brought here against your will?"
"Of course, the Chaos Gods work in mysterious ways. No doubt I will claim this place in Their name and lay waste to all who oppose me," he continued, clenching and unclenching his powerfist with a savage grin on his face.
— A pair of holomatter hands reached out from behind Shockwave, picking up the crystal and taking back into the chamber. —
Time, I Anticipate, Will Not Be Critically Finite In My Imprisonment Here. We Will Monitor The Area For Incidents, And Will Assist When Necessary.
—As the door begins to close, the activity above intensifies, the gap beginning to become filled in by a translucent glass. Where the activity is most energetic, two faint globes of a bubble-like quality start to form, the winds now whistling. —
-Zod eyed the powerfist-
"If you are superior, why must you augment yourselves to do battle?"
"To smite my enemies, so that none survive. To taste their fear as they die. To unleash the savagery of the Gods upon all that do not believe- including many of my own kind."
An energy cutting weapon?
"That is promising, to say the least. However, I am no need of such a weapon. Perhaps an exchange of a slightly different nature can be arranged."
He pushed up his glasses.
"You seem to have advanced robots at your disposal. At this point, I will admit, have limited means to defend myself. I propose: in exchange for defense services by means of your machines, I can offer some knowledge of the technology or enemies encountered by NERV. Information provided dependent on quality of services provided."

"A pity that you've refused my offer of a personal weapon, Ikari," the hologram replied, putting the cylinder down just out of the feed. "But Doom is not so overbearing as to force the issue, especially when an alternative has presented itself. If it is robotic guards you require, those I can provide with little fuss."
Doom turned to look at something offscreen and gestured. Seconds later, a loud knock came at Gendo's door.
The Danse Macabre CodexFawful realized something odd he had overheard, and hovered over to Zod.
"Do you have claiming that you are not being a human?" he asked incredulously.
Pretend there's something clever written here.Kerrigan turned from the doors as they closed and started to walk away. She looked up when she heard the wind and sensed some sort of disturbance going on.
A personal weapon like that...May have been useful. Doom may be an honorable man, but the fewer things that get into this room, the better. The weapon may not have been bugged, but it only gave another opening for someone else to do so...
"Yes. Unfortunate."
Gendo opened his office door.
— The wind intensified to a deafening howl, as the two orbs solidified, their surfaces glistening and pulsing like water. One is striped with gold and vibrant red, whilst the other is sanguine red with murky black designs. Every lair door in the complex hisses open, and every Lord or Lady is dragged forth to the centre. —
About Time Something Happened.
@Fawful: "Indeed you did. I come from a planet known as Krypton."
-Zod examined the two orbs-
"What is the meaning of this?"
Perhaps this oddly dressed-
-Zod scanned Daido quickly-
-male can be recruited.
