Amber told the witch. "You can't even talk with the Syndicate by using peace. They'll just use force. EPR also has Contractors who just want to live like normal people as well and it's also our job to protect them until we can destroy PANDORA's particle accelerator, which is the first main objective I want your group to do by assisting our Contractor fighters."

Sigma nodded in a disinterested manner, finding himself caring less and less about the petty humans and their fruitless struggles. In the grand new age of the Reploid, there would be no such conflicts: Sigma's word alone would be heeded, and he would take the helm of a rennaissance that was according to his design.

Any alliances he entered into would be ones of convenience, and disposal would be forthcoming as soon as his fellow 'overlords' served their purposes.

Boomer Kuwanger coolly regarded the young human who had just appeared in the All-Lair. It was terribly tempting to run over to her and snap her neck in one fluid motion, but he knew that to do so was to invite the ire of both the other prisoners and his own master. Therefore, to give in to his desire to kill her was illogical, and he would not do so.

That was, unless it were to become a rational course of action...

Norman smiles fasley. "Thanks."

He runs off and washes his head in the sink. "I told you to stay back for now!"

Daido nods, remaining mute. "Assisting people in a fight? That's what I do best!" Daido thought.

"A moment."

Amber motioned Brita to give her a brown envelope.

"I need to show you all photos we've obtained on PANDORA's particle accelerator."

Maleficent picked up the envelope and used one of her long nails to tear open the top. She took out the photos and looked at them.

"......................" She moved the photos around and tilted her head.

A beat.

"What exactly is this.........contraption supposed to do?" Maleficent asked before passing them over to Megatron.

—The Decepticon scanned over the recovered photographs, just as bored... on the surface. In truth, these "Contractors" weren't too dissimilar from the Mutants Doom's information had spoken of. And that made Megatron interested...—

The Overlords were shown a picture of part of the Particle accelerator◊ being guarded by PANDORA security forces. They also saw the layout of the Saturn Ring System where the particle accelerator system is based on◊ and the South American continent◊ where Heaven's Gate is based.

Amber told Megatron. "I got EPR scientists who defected from PANDORA to work on this, majority of them being familiar with the particle accelerator system. This machine would shoot out a particle beam onto the center of Hell's Gate, located in some remnants of the Greater Tokyo Area. They said that this can destroy Hell's Gate, but at the cost of dead Contractors and make Tokyo and the entire Japanese archipelago an uninhabitable space for a long period of time."

The Shocker Rider was interested in this. "And do you know where you got this information from?"

"I got this from a Professor Schroeder. He willingly gave up all of this information though before he was rescued by PANDORA security forces."

"Weird. And yet he does not defect to Evening Primrose or any other anti-PANDORA guerrilla force?"

Amber shook her head.

"A particle beam?" asked Huron, interested. He began to wonder, privately, of course, how exactly he could take the weapon for himself and slay these so called 'Overlords'. "And how exactly do we make it through, then? A frontal charge should do it."

Maleficent whispered, projecting her voice only to Megatron. "Primitive to you. I originally came from a world where water wheels were the most advanced pieces of technology." She then spoke aloud to Amber when she described the purpose of the particle accelerator.

"So this particle accelerator is some sort of weapon, I presume?" Maleficent said. "From that mere description alone, this machine would a truly frightful object to wield even when not used upon a gateway into Hell." And incredibly useful to me if it can be modified to channel my magic...... she mentally added.

Amber heard Huron's question. "Right now PANDORA security forces are on the alert, so this'll be a problem for us. Especially since we're going to use lot of dolls to help make contact with our fighters, not to mention on working on getting you guys closer to the Gate and to PANDORA with minimal loss."

Amber nodded at Maleficent. "Yes, it's a huge weapon that needs to be taken out of commission."

"A problem for you, perhaps." said the nine-foot tall killing machine, laying a hand on his matter-disintegrating close combat weapon. "For a warlord like me, it should provide little trouble."

Daido was about to open his mouth and make a comment on how advanced it looked compared to the achievements in his world, but stopped, remembering his promise to remain mute as long as possible. Besides, when your highest achievement are US Bs that make you a second-rate fighter compared to Firebenders, Sorcerers, Monarchs, Decepticons, Sorcerers, and the like, it's not worth mentioning.

"The Contractors the Syndicate will post inside PANDORA aren't any pushovers. For instance, I heard they got one who can pull literally anyone down on the ground and use gravity in their favor while another burns someone up using fire."

Amber was trying to warn Huron not to let his guard down.

Amber looked at Megatron, unsure of what he's saying.

"For the Contractors, they can be killed. It's just that most Contractors have different kinds of offensive skills that your group may have to call on other techniques aside from small arms to kill them. Trust me when I say that they're no pushover."

The Shocker Rider asked Amber, putting his hands on the bomber jacket's pockets. "And what of your dolls? Are they an issue?"

"Yes. If PANDORA finds out that we have dolls to back you guys up and sends some of their soldiers to destroy it, we'll have problems using doll specters to guide you inside the gate so that any one of you won't be insane or whatnot from the phenomena generated by Hell's Gate."

"What exactly are these dolls you refer to?" Maleficent asked. "Are they expendable robots of some sort?"

"Well dolls can form a variety of functions; the most commonly seen in the series is their use of observer spirits, which serve as reconnaissance. Dolls have different mediums through which they can send their observer spirits and must be in contact with this medium while observing." Amber explained to Maleficent.

"Dolls can also be used in espionage as well. They can act as the perfect sleeper agent. It can be given the memories and personality of another person and assume a person's personality perfectly, mimicking all their habits, dreams, and feelings until the time is right."

Where Are These "dolls" Manufactured?

—The Decepticon's face was impassive.—

"Just to tell you guys know, these dolls can't be manufactured or anything. These are humans who lost all emotion and were prevalent like Contractors after Heaven's Gate was in Brazil and later, Hell's Gate in Tokyo."

Fawful had moved down to the table which showed a view of the challenge, watching it disinterestedly. It was a mark of the odd path that technology had taken in his own world that Fawful's first thought, upon hearing the words "particle accelerator," was to picture a machine that made sand faster.

He had noticed the changes to the All-Lair's decor, but had not yet noticed the one responsible.

Azula simply stood, listening and grumbling to herself, apparently highly agitated at the entire situation.

Norman walks back in looking on the edge of sanity. "A particle accelerator? Powerful weapon. Where is it?"

"Mr. Osborn!" Amber said, turning around. "You... surprised me."

She told the man. "It seemed that some of your colleagues are also interested in PANDORA's particle accelerator weapon."

The Shocker Rider shrugged. "Don't look at me. Big robot guy started to get interested on it." He pointed to Megatron's form with his left index finger.
