eriously, if A wants to kill B for killing C, what makes A less of a killer than B?
By murdering C (assuming that C did not murder someone first, of course) B forfeits their own right to not be killed. A (or anyone else, really) is free to kill B - there is no right left to be intruded upon. A did not ignore other's right to live.

Again, that's theory. In real life mistakes that will lead to innocents being killed are bound to happen, and that's why I am firmly against capital punishment. Not because murderers/torturers/rapists do not deserve being killed - they do! Killing them is perfectly just and fair. But because innocents should not be executed by mistake or malice, and it is not possible to prevent those errors altogether. It is way better for 100000 murderers to get less than they deserve than for 1 innocent to be executed.
