We have all been gender flipped!

"Well, should we start 'sploring, then? Let's 'splore."

Georgia jumps out of the cart.

"Thank you again for the ride, sirs!"

Mikaela does a small bow to the cart driver as she says, "Thank you, have a nice day."

She follows Georgia.

"Just remember to stay close."

Eisen gets off the cart along with the others, making sure to help Aquarius if he needs it.

"I suggest we explore this town. It is interesting indeed." she remarks in a pleasant tone.

Penelope makes a (:3c) face at a Joanna.

"Was that Eisen?" Daydre asks.

"No problem, anytime!" The cart driver responded, heading off into the heart of the town.

The street the group was dropped off on looked to be more of a public area, with various shops, stores, and the like all around.

I have two locations deeper into the town if you want to go explore that, but you're welcome to make up smaller things here.

The sun outside was now a fiery, angry orange-red over the tops of the buildings, casting long shadows from the buildings around.

"....Jesus, has it been that long already?"

Kyle followed Georgia and Mikaela to the town, excited to see what was there.

Seriously, you never explained to me what a "Game" was.

Oh yeah...

"I'll stay close, Mikaela. I may be the size of one, but I'm not a child! So... now what?"

Mikaela does a single-armed hug to Georgia.

"We could looks at some of the shops. Maybe they have a place we can get some souvenirs, some cute accessories..."

"I'm sure the other group would be glad to see us have a souvenir from Arbor!" Eisen smiles as she makes a small synthetic hum.

"Let's go!"

"Great. And now I suppose that we are gonna get attacked by vampires or some shit." She says in a joking tone, but clutching the knife a tad bit tighter. She seems to be looking a bit uncomfortable with the situation, though.

"Yep."

Joanna pulls up Eisen's pictures of Arbor and shows them to Daydre.

"Oh, nice pictures..."

"Ag, this feels good.", Thea says as she bathes in the suns rays.

Morgan looks at the pictures from behind Daydre's shoulder. "Those are some nice visuals."

Mira returns to her seat while Penelope tries to get a look at the pictures.

"Did Eisen say anything back?"

"Well, I sent her some pictures of Cannon Town and she liked them, so there's that."

She gives Penelope another look, this time concentrating on her eyes and face, trying to deduce what she could've possibly meant by her statement earlier.

"You keep joking like that but who knows what's around?"

She looks like a pretty normal ten to twelve year old. Her nose is pretty thin and she always seemed to be grinning, just a little. Her eyes, as previously stated, are brown but a closer look reveals they have some reddish brown flecks.

If/when Joanna looks away she might notice some kind of flicker around the girl out of the corner of her eye.

"Very true..." she murmurs to herself as she looks for anything suspicious, still clutching the knife.

"Wha--?"

She hadn't noticed anything really odd about Penelope: her eyes were a very saturated brown, yes, but that wasn't too out of the ordinary, at least compared to Daydre's rubies, Morgan's light bulbs, and Joshlynn's...um... However, turning away, she caught the flicker around Penelope—she exclaims—and her head jerks back to look at the girl, if only for a moment before peeling herself away once more.

Once she looks straight back at Penelope, the flicker is gone. The girl herself just gives Joanna a :3? sort of look.

The shout startles Daydre. "Is something wrong Joanna?"

"I-I'm...good..."

She saw something, she knows it...but what was it exactly? Heck, that girl's all-but-teasing her with that stupid grin of hers.

Shifting her gaze back towards Penelope, she starts surveying the girl more throughly—though she tries to keep her peering covert—paying close attention to Penelope's "silhouette", as an artist would put it. Occasionally, she turns her face to the crowd or to Mira's stand, before going back to not-staring-into-space, to avoid making it (even more) awkward. A rising, warming worry—plainly evident as her cheeks garner a faint blush and a bead of sweat slides down the bridge of her nose—suggests to Joanna it's, unfortunately, already too late for that.

She sighs and finally looks away, stowing her phone and journeying a few feet back into the crowd, brow furrowing as her nervous blush fades but the worry-heat and sweat worsen. She'll have to find out later what that was, if she'll even be able to at all. ...though the girl did say she and Daydre were somehow alike...perhaps that flicker could manifest from Daydre given time. She takes out her notebook and begins scribbling her thoughts down.

"Penelope.." Mira speaks in a voice only a mother warning a child can use... Had she been watching the whole exchange? Had she seen the flicker..?

Penelope gulps. "... Sorry."

Looking straight on at Penelope yields nothing. She really does look like a normal little girl. As Joanna looks away, though, that flicker will appear again. Just for a second, out of the corner of her eye, Penelope will seem.. off.

Daydre gives Mira a quick thank you and goodbye before following Joanna.

"You're definitely not good... what did you see?"

Sitting down on a nearby bench, she writes down the rest of her thoughts then slams her notebook shut.

"...okay, I was looking at that girl...she said you were...like her, if I can remember correctly. Anyway, I tried looking at her, and I couldn't see anything like what you had, but as soon as I looked away, there was this"—Joanna snaps her fingers—"flicker, forlackofabetterword, of...something about her. A-around her." She chuckles. "About her...what am I, an aristocrat? Anyway, it's happened...twice now, and...I was thinking...if she's right, what if you had that same..."—Joanna can't help but snap—"flicker...about you? Maybe she saw that?"

"She said my eyes were like hers... If I'm remembering right.." He frowns. He couldn't think of a way their eyes were alike so maybe that was supposed to be code for something? Maybe he did have that flickering or whatever Joanna mentioned and Penelope had seen that...

"Can you see it around me now?" Daydre asks, trying not to let worry seep into his voice. If he did have it, it stood to reason that Joanna would be able to see it on him too..
