"Indeed it came as one..." Nar steps out behind Teddy. "Jean already mentioned the angle of our reputation and possible surveilance. Which brings me right to the point: Are you really the Teddy we know?"

[meanwhile, Joanna has been running through the streets trying to find Evelynn, with Emily presumably behind her]

[wait, is she?]

[she checks and looks]

Emily is on the rooftops, scanning the streets below for Evelynn.

Where the heck is she?

[doesn't want to look around to find Emily, has to look around to find Evelynn]

Emily or Joanna (or both) will eventually spot Evelynn further up one of the streets, apparently deep in discussion with with a man in modern anti-ballistic armor and a sword in a scabbard across his back.

Emily spots the duo and races across the rooftops, parkouring a bit on the way. Once she is in earshot, but still unseen, she stops and listens to the conversation.

[catches Emily on the rooftops ahead of her and gives chase, quickly yet inconspicuously making her way through the crowd]

[then she sees Emily stop, and she stops in like, looking around for Evelynn]

"I have all the same memories from before my death as Teddy did, with no additions or removals, I look the same as Teddy, and I think of myself as Teddy. But in the most technical sense, I'm not the Teddy you knew, because that Teddy died, and I am her in a new body."

"...Not going to be happy with this if she knows your rationale for it, you know?" The man says

"Do you disapprove of my reasoning?"

"It... is certainly sound, from a political standpoint, but..."

Evelynn smiles, "As adorable as it is for you to be looking out for your girlfriend's feelings, the meeting tomorrow is more important."

The man sighs, "You're going to use that card to try and distract me? You know it's not like that, so why do you keep saying that?"

Evelynn's smile broadens, "My mistake, I'm sorry."

"Does that conclude what you need to talk to me about?" The man asks, still sounding rather miffed.

"It does indeed, Captain. Best of luck to you."

The man nods before turning around and walking away, and Evelynn waits for him to be out of earshot before turning towards where Emily is hiding.

"You know, just because I'm the Aspect of Destruction doesn't mean that I don't have some useful trinkets to give me information, such as when someone is lurking around a private conversation."

"That suffices. If you are telling the truth, I am sorry for doubting you."

[the crowd has thinned, with Evelynn plainly in view]

[Joanna jumps a little as Evelynn looks back at Emily]

So...[she draws closer to Evelynn] you're an Aspect? Is...is that what this is about?

"If it's any help, I have received no orders involving you all, and was unaware of your presence here until I ran across Aquarius."

Teddy grins and shakes her head.

"Man this sounds ridiculously formal..."

Evelynn turns to Joanna and tilts her head slightly to the side

"Does what mean what is all about what? You're not really making any sense."

Um...y'know...you're an Aspect...Teddy's an Aspect...or was?

Gah, look, it's just...we need to know what you had to do with Teddy's resurrection...and who's this Jonathon guy, too? Was that the guy you talked to earlier?

Jean's so drunk, it affected Blackie's writing.

Blackie, I'll get back to Teddy in a minute, I just want to wait until a couple more of the people who are still there with Teddy are online.

"Why don't you slow down and explain what's going on. As I understand it, you found Teddy, yes?"

...oh, yea, I told them not to tell you who we were looking for at the Arena. Um, so, yea, we did.

"Perhaps it would be easier for me to answer your questions if you told me what Teddy has already shared with you, so that I can fill in the gaps in your knowledge."

Well...she didn't tell us much. She said she woke up with you and some Jonathon guy checking on her and she didn't remember much of anything you two explained because of shock.

...that's the story you're gonna stick with, right?

"Well I can't say I'm surprised by her not paying attention, it was a lot to take in. Get your friend down here and I'll give you the explanation to the best of my knowledge."

Jeez, I leave to cut the grass and a lot of shit happens.

Emily has said nothing this entire time. "Evelynn, last I checked, you were Destruction, right? What Aspect is Jonathon?"

Teddy glances over in Konk's direction, as if to gauge her reaction to these events.
