I suppose so, but I find it strange that I should care so much about them. I guess b really taught me something.

She fiddles with her cap as she says this

seems like it is a long story. I would rather not give away any details that i am not allowed to, but suffice to say, there is someone i am communicating with

the stranger looks up from her fiddling and twiddling, and looks up at Aqua and erin (still only audible and visible to erin)

she finds some spare pieces and knick-knacks on the table in front of her, and starts to manipulate them, building them quickly into an intricate, and beautiful device, which starts clicking rhythmically in a nice tune (device and the building of the device is audible and visible to all - stranger, only to erin)

"Ah, friendships and loyalty. Like stone bricks in the walls of a castle... When linked in perfect structural unison, they form a defence even the greatest of armies cannot defeat. But when even one falls, whether from the right weapon or tactic in a tactical siege, or is just too weak to stand up against so many attacks, the whole structure crumbles."

as she says this, she carefully removes a single, near-invisible pin from the device's inner workings, and the whole thing rather violently disintegrates in a second, making appropriately loud-ish sounds (again, device and its destruction is audible and visible to all, but the stranger, only to erin)

"On that note, how many sieges are you currently holding your friends, and your ship against?"

the stranger gets up, and starts walking around

"Ah, yes... a threat from far down in the fields of time, having walked back to plough their own garden and seed their own horrors in the still-young soil."

agreed. the whole situation is confusing, even for me.

she walks near Aqua, conspicuously staring either at something behind erin, or nothing at all

Well, i am hardly worried about the loyalty of my crew. couldn't ask for a better set.

she smiles, absent-mindedly walking behind a wall, disappearing from view

"Yes, I'm sure you have no doubt about their loyalties. What about yours?"

she starts whistling again

"While I have, and you should have, no doubt about your own loyalties and mindset, keep in mind, many strange and enigmatic things can be found wandering in even the most collected of people's heads..."

erin walks through the wall to follow. to anyone who knows her, "collected" only applies to get outward demeanor

naturally, when erin walks through to meet the stranger, she's gone, her whistling and final statements echoing away down the hallway before going silent

back in the room, and behind the wall, on closer inspection, there appears to have been no sign anyone besides Aqua had recently been inside, sat on that couch, tinkered with stuff on the table (which is empty), or walked around at all

for those who cared to check, another thing has popped up - every item related to their fellow, but as of yet missing, crewmember Turtoise, has completely vanished, as if they, or she, had never existed at all

figures. guess we will simply figure that out later.
