Given that Bamco was one of the shows sponsors, that choice of gameplay comes as little to no surprise.

One of the other issues these days is that games have massive dev times compared to the old days. I imagine there is a new Tales in development, but its still years off and Beyond the Dawn was meant to tide us over.
