It's a skit with Magilou and Velvet where Magilou tries to get Velvet to announce when preorders for the game will start, and Velvet refuses to play along. I like how they bounce off each other, with Magilou talking way too much and Velvet playing Comically Serious.

My biggest worry at this point is that Velvet will be a ridiculously stereotypical 'edgy' protagonist. All grumpy and angsty and whatnot.

They seem to be making fun of that in the promo, so at least they're self aware. Magilou starts with monologue about "What is 'hatred'? How much do you need to suffer for it? Does it make you feel like you have a reason to live?" etc etc. And then Velvet shows up with a "Yo, you called?"

And I laughed.

Velvet also did this joke where Magilou was nudging her into announcing Tales of Berseria and Velvet kept guessing foods. "Okay, so it starts with a B" "Bacon?"

Man I really don't like how Ufotable draws Velvet. She looks exactly like Milla.

The skit itself was kind of amusing, but it kind of went on for a long time. Wasn't a fan of how the screen kept flipping all the time.

Yeah, that's my one biggest complaint about Velvet, she looks way too much like a Milla palette swap. I almost wonder if they're running out of female model bases here.

Man I hope not, but considering Elenor looks like an older Rommy and Magilou looks like an older sexier Elise...

Ah. Barely know anything about Tempest, so it makes sense.

Then again, it was so bad that they declared it an escort title, when I don't think it's comes close to fitting that status at all (since escort titles are essentially spin-offs and side games of some sort).

I personally like Tempest's story and characters, but it was definitely an unfinished bare bones game. It's less than 20 hours long, the plot suddenly wraps up incredibly fast in the last few hours, and the AI is pretty much nonexistent. It probably needed at least another year in development and Dimps was tired of working on it. It's a shame, really.

Its the one game that deserves an R remake. And definitely a better love interest than fucking Rubia.

Caius is fucking adorable too and he got in VS so surely Tempest did SOMETHING right

Also did you know Tempest has an unused Stahn Aileron model and boss fight in it?

I'm not a big fan of Rubia either, she's easily the weakest written character in the game. And it's very odd to me that it never got an R remake considering Every other R remake referenced it.

I want to know where exactly QQ was supposed to be from too. They imply she's from the Tempest universe somewhere but I don't see her being Leimornean and I can't remember any region where they gave people nicknames like she does.

Also, I did not know that. Wow. So much unfinished content in that game...

Hell, Tempest, Hearts and Rebirth were DS games first and the latter two got Vita remakes, yet Tempest didn't. Caius ended up getting into VS and Twin Brave and had cameo costumes so surely the game did something RIGHT.

Maybe it was Caius either being too adorable or appealing to furries somehow.

All I can guess is because Dimps made Tempest they have some weird copyright issues with Namco that have gone unresolved or something. Because it doesn't make sense to refer to a game you're never intending on remaking, right?

But they don't have copyright on the characters, right?

I have no idea. It's all just guesswork on my part.

Well the credits for VS don't mention Dimps so I guess Namco sitll have the rights to Caius and Rubia at least.
