The Workshop Battle (02) is out!

• The Workshop Patrol bots are cute!

• Surprise surprise, you need to win a game to enter the game! One shot, one opportunity, they say, so I reckon the basics will be straightforward. SIU even says it's practically a casual game! Which can still kill you.

Wagnaran bumming off of Koon was funny, as was Koon's reaction to it. One wonders how deep his patience is for this team

I wonder what Baam thought of hearing himself name dropped. Apparently he thought it was amusing enough to just go along with

It's nice this. It's almost like we've settled into an equilibrium where all the main characters are awesome in their own way especially Baam and Koon .

Aguero seems to be displaying the same degree of annoyance he does around Hatsu and Rak. But, he hasn't tippled the board over or put his foot down. Tells you summit, doesn't it?

He's... kind of comfortable. In a totally-complaining-all-the-time way. I swear, he's a granddad of cynicism and grouch stuffed into a teen body. Never happier than when having something silly to complain about.

I couldn't help but think the first few pages, "There you are, Baam! You really have just been behind your bangs this whole time!" It was nice seeing him withut his Viole serious-thing going on.

I was thinking that it's really nice how SIU's managed to keep Baamiole from killing any conflicts despite his utter superiority to everyone else in the strength department.

Like, here, we're outright told that he could bust his way through the patrol, but his desire to keep his identity hidden prevents him from doing so, and his involvement in that plot thread is simultaneously prevent him from killing the conflict on the ticket-finding thing.

And, of course, Xiaxia and Cassano were basically able to kidnap him.

They were holding something over his head at the time, though. It's basically the only way FUG can keep a hold of him: otherwise, he'd've been away through the long grass ages ago. <_<

The only chains that can hold Baam are the ones he makes himself. Typical bleeding Irregular. Pity Yu Han Sung saw him coming a mile off, though.

This might just be due to the translation, but the rules state that taking someone's pistol will disqualify them and that shooting someone with a light bullet, which you have to take from another person, will give them an automatic win. It's possible that the twist to this game is that, "pistol," and, "bullet," are meant to be individual objects, and that you could give a comrade your bullet without penalty.

Hmm. At the moment, it seems this is really a game of speed; those tickets seem to be disappearing pretty quickly. Which means- and I'm looking at you here, Androssi- that no matter how strong you are, you shouldn't waste any opportunity to pass, by, say decided to go for the grudge match right away.

Also, here a quirk in the rules: a team can't pass using only light bullets, because somebody would have be around to shoot the last remaining teammate. So you're want to have one of you stronger team member pass last. So it not only weeds out the 'real' teams from the 'fake' ones, but tests whether or not you're able to put the team's safety over your own.

It's a fairly translation-light one, this week. ^_^ That's good news... even if SIU's wrists still seem to be playing him up. He so needs to take a month or so off. Maybe more. <_<
