Granted Clone would be pushing it since ya know what they look like under the armor is barely Samus like and more like the Psycho Ranger Monsters masquerading like Samus but aren't legit clones of her

Sylux is a Well-Intentioned Extremist who knows the truth about the Galactic Federation's ambitions, but consequently considers Samus and the Marines guilty by association.

I think Sylux is a woman but she may not be a human woman. Her build is very unusual for a person and she has a pretty animalistic roar.

I think Sylux is a girl because the name has the same amount of syllables as Samus :P Plus it'd make sense for her to have a female rival.

Dang, I missed the training on 1.1 for AM 2 R. All downloads I've found are taken down. :(

Clearly Sylux is the byproduct of the GF attempts to recreate Samus-tier supersoldiers under their control.

There's nothing to imply Sylux is the #2 Hunter, just that Sylux has is an expert tracker and marksman who hate the Galactic Federation.

The other five hunters are apparently, somehow, still alive too.

So if this is to be believed, the average Space Pirate is actually... pretty damn huge◊

It doesn't surprise me. They're supposed to be large and imposing but that probably doesn't come across too easily in a first person view.

Samus now has 3 potential Figma figures out - the existing Other M Varia suit and the upcoming Zero Suit and Prime 3 Varia Suit.

I know she has other action figures out there, but the figma are easiest for me to obtain.

I already have the Other M Varia Suit version of her, she has DOUBLE JOINTS for her head and neck (standard Figma neck joint plugs into a large balljointed neck/collar piece) and pretty solid articulation, also a bundled-in representation of her Morph Ball.

I'm holding out for the Prime 3 Varia Suit figma to have Figma 2.0 style improved joints all over.

In Federation Force, Does the ancient race that lived on Bion ever get a name? Or is a reason given why they invented their enlarging technology and used it on themselves? Or why they went extinct?

So that post credits scene... I'm not going to spoil it, but am I the only one hoping that it's hinting that, if we get a Prime 4, that it will have a villain that ISN'T the space pirates? Because I would like that for a change.

The Space Pirates were pretty tertiary in Echoes, if that's any consolation.

And the main villains of Fusion and Other M are SA-X and MB, with the Galactic Federation as Greater-Scope Villain.

Metroid 2 also doesn't have Pirates.

I know there are several games where the pirates aren't the focus, and some where they don't appear at all, but sometimes it feels like they're the only organization Samus is allowed to fight, ya know? And I don't think the franchise would be hurt by introducing a new group of villains.

Oh I agree completely. I still want a Fusion sequel with the Federation as the villains. A game where Samus fights the Kriken could also be cool.

Congratulations to Federation Force for beating my expectations in Japan and more than doubling Codename Steam's debut sales.

Zero Suit Samus figma coming soon, end of this year :D

I'm thinking of saving up extra to get an extra one of her. Also if GSC wants to make a little extra money they should make Dark Suit and Light Suit figma variants for Samus, as well as at least one of the Space Pirates and Ridley and a GF Trooper.

But it bombed in Japan.

Good or not, it still sucks that we've STILL haven't had a confirmation on an actual main game yet.
