Thoughts on my character's ability?

I just came up with it for some time and I just still feel quite uncertain with it. His power is basically dimension manipulation. He can connect with dimensional spaces by touching them(waving his hands through them?) and once that's done he can bend them at will. Like forming warp holes and even change the pace of time at some spaces, but that level requires a lot more concentration.

So you think it sounds ok? Does it make sense much? Would I be able to do much with a character who has that kind of power? Anything else? I'm still not sure.

Help?.. please...

I think you should add some more limitations, or he could start abusing the power and turn into a Sue.

Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest

Yeah being God-Mode Sue ish is also a bit of a concern for me. He's already really smart(my second/third smartest character?).

Reign in that power a bit. Maybe it takes a lot of energy and concentration, or maybe it's unpredictable or unreliable. Like, this character may want to open a small rift and get a gaping hole, or speed time a little in one spot and slow it dramatically in another. Dimension-warping abilities are difficult to handle without creating a God-Mode Sue: I wish you good luck all the way.

There are two ways you can do this - either dial down his powerest, or put him up against antagonists with similarly game-breaking powers. The latter is tricky to do, but viable.

A God-Mode Sue is a very relative thing, based on the background power level of the story. Conflict is what makes a tale truly entertaining.

What's precedent ever done for us?
