Well, one berserk demon has been dealt with, but there are still the others, plus, you know, the city being on fire. Hopefully those other angles can drag them to safety.

I just need a break from this arc, it feels like the city's been burning for years now. It's good, but it's exhausting and relentless. The characters need a long break and some downtime to wind down from this.
Well the comic is going into hiatus next month (and maybe the one after that) but i'm not sure that's what you mean.

It just feels like there's been too many separate action setpieces since the city started burning, and it's fatiguing. Slightly Damned has always been chill and laid back with brief snippits of action and drama, so this feels like too much. I've been waiting for them to go "and then they escaped and rested at an inn to process what just happened" for pages and pages now.
Well look who's tardy to the party.
Good news, the fire has stopped. The bad news, we won't be getting any new pages for the next month or two

A key thing note here is that Buwaro refereed to Kieri by here real name straight away, which suggest something has changed, also the fact that he has tried and failed to talk to her before is not a good sign for their relationship.
