I can't imagine why it wouldn't. I'm pretty sure the Wii only uses PAL/NTSC/NTSC-J region-locking, not the ten million different DVD regions.

Are you sure it will work? I really want to know, as the last thing I want is to get an import, only to find that I can't play it.

Certain. My copy of No More Heroes is from the UK and works fine on my Australian Wii.
