Yeah, she basically presses the universe's Reset Button in the ending. Plus, there's her line in the final ending: "I will watch over you from beyond the stars."
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Is there even a difference in height for her between Galaxy and 3D World?
Is she as least taller than Peach?
Yes.

I love how the magic thingy here◊ looks like the remote cursor. Excellent touch.
How about in addition to Zelda being able to transform into Sheik, normal Zelda fights with Impa?

How would that even work? Also, I highly doubt Nintendo's going to be willing to add a third character model to an already space-intensive character.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. It would work similar to Ice Climbers.
Impa is better off with her own unique slot if being playable at all.
We have very few transformation characters. We're getting a lot more characters that brings out their own partners to do something.
If I want something akin to Ice Climbers, something like Plusle & Minun or Diddy & Dixie do it better and make the most sense, honestly.
I could only see Impa with a Young Zelda partnership at best. Adult Zelda should stick with Sheik, her true fighting form and what makes her unique in Smash.
That seems a bit overkill. If Pokemon Trainer and Ice Climbers still get in, that'd make for five team-based characters.
The return of the Ice Climbers is already in serious dispute. Do you really want to add a transformation wrinkle in there?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. Not to mention that Rosalina has the power to move her Observatory between parallel universes.
Luma's star-shooting move reminds me a lot of Alice Margatroid as she is in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.
Is it, though? I mean, given what we know about Rosalina now, are the Ice Climbers that much more difficult to program?
"We're home, Chewie."I would posit that Luma would be harder to program.
I have a message from another time...Since we have two Links I want two Zeldas. Preferably with one of them being her Skyward Sword designs.
@Irene: No, she'd still be able to transform into Sheik like normal. Just when she's Zelda she'd be accompanied by her guardian and the one who taught her combat (I think).
@Midna: We could have Pikmin&Olimar, Pokémon Trainer, Ice Climbers, Rosalina&Luma, Diddy & Dixie Kong, Zelda&Impa, Kat&Ana, and Ness&Friends (his original party from Earthbound).
That's some hardcore overkill though. Just because we know they can program a double character in a 3DS without problem doesn't mean they would start throwing team characters all over the place, especially if it would involve changing an already established character.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Having Impa assist Zelda seems awfully clunky, especially considering she's been fine by her self for 2 games. I'm all for making Impa a solo character though.
nyo ho hoYeah, I'm going to say no to that. Zelda is unique without Impa at her side. If Impa wants to be partnered up, some kind of Young Zelda or no thanks. I do not like that kind of idea since it's unwiedly.
Also, while Luma may be possibly harder to program, having a character follow you around is not the same as throwing out someone for an attack. We also don't know how the Luma works compared to how the Ice Climbers work.
I think the Ice Climbers are likely now, but Sakurai has not gone back on his "being difficult to program" words in any way, so it's still up in the air. The other characters make it sound like he fixed the issue. But it's still a hot debate because they're not confirmed yet. We just don't know. I think that may be why he's concentrating on various other partner characters.
Also, Pokemon Trainer is the same thing as Zelda/Sheik. That's a transformation character by design. Partner characters are ones that have a physical playable partner out on the field some or all of the time. Pikmin & Olimar, Ice Climbers, and Rosalina & Luma are partner characters. King Dedede can perform a move based upon a partner character with his Down B and Final Smash. Pit's Final Smash is a partner character style one.
Don't forget Peach and Toad.
Well she's counting Pit and Dedede, so...

I wouldn't call him partner considering he's there for just a single attack.
Any speculation on Rosalina's final smash? I'm calling either some kind of black hole or Comet Observatory-Fu.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Peach and Toad is barely a move. She's not throwing him out often enough to be a partner character(I'm referring to as a gameplay style, not just having a partner alone). King Dedede can summon a ton, same with Pit, which is why I counted them as "non-partner characters with a partner-like move".
A partner character revolves around that kind of gameplay. Peach barely revolves around Toad. King Dedede does not revolve around his summons, but his Hammer and such. Pit also is not based around a partner either. But it's also why I said they're just for a move or two only.

I think it'll involve a swarm of Lumas. A storytime catatstrophe, maybe?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Hungry Luma would probably be the most likely pick, considering how most of her moveset already references all of the other varieties.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyHow about a supernova?
Normal.
The ending of SMG seems to show that she's more than an ordinary woman. She grows really tall and seems to have some kind of power to help reshape the universe.
