So, I really like the song The Meaning of Truth from F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu (you may recall it from the infamous FALCON PUNCH meme). I've never actually seen the show, but I liked the song so much that I decided to try and write English lyrics for it. (I didn't translate it, as I don't actually speak Japanese; I got the literal English lyrics from Google.)
My aim was to write something that:
Kept most of the meaning of the original
Had words that flowed nicely, and where possible kind of sounded like the original's words
Rhymed
I'd really like constructive criticism on this, as it's one of the first times I've done it. I'll post the English lyrics side-by-side with the original Japanese ones.
