How would Shadow The Hedgehog work as a Complete Monster?

Dr. Eggman declares Shadow and his other goons have failed him and tries to kill them with Egg Dealer. Shadow is so enraged he kills Eggman. Now that he is off the Silppery Slope, how does he get over the Moral Event Horizon?

You don't know much about slipping or slopes, and you didn't say how old you are. Its ok if you don't want to say specifically, just a basic 'kid' 'teenager' 'adult' gauge.

Anyway, killing eggman is hardly going to turn anyone into some kind of monster. if anything, it could swing a character into antihero, but shadow is already there. Let's look at it another way—why do you even want shadow to be evil? The answer is not "for a tv show" either because there are other already evil characters you could use.

Okay, Shadow will not be a complete monster, but still a Big Bad for the later seasons.

I made Shadow into a monster because I felt like I could not possibly get the Archie/Dic license.
