Parsee would also have to have some great win quotes: VS Reimu "If only I could show off my armpits that well..." VS Sakuya "Huh, so you can stop time... but it only accelerates my jealousy!" VS Suwako "I wish I had a hat like that..."

I sure said that!Against Utsuho: "Hey! How come you got to go to the surface?" Could also apply to Suika. Or if Rin gets in one, it'd apply to her too.
1. I really, really, really would want to see Parsee in a fighting game.
2. Potential Kyouko moveset for Faw
Kyouko is an echo, so she could be based entirely on counter-moves, with some of Sakyua's Bounce/No-bounce attack thrown in. Maybe even a wall jump, reflect off the screen sides. The fighter games have always played with the original moves of characters.
As for melee, that broom ain't for show. That's a genuine Myourenji broom, finest quality, mahogany. Mahogany.
I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.Hmm... bouncing off of walls? Powerful counterattacks? Now I want to see Kyouko as Wesker.

I think it would be interesting for her to deploy danmaku mines or even fake Parsees like she does during one of her spellcards.
As far as Parsee's fighting game moveset, I just want to see that homing-antihoming ring of danmaku nonspell as a skill card.
I sure said that!I was referring to the fact that she shoots actual bullets, as in the kinds of things that come out of guns. She also shoots them in a notably clustered way. This is just as notable as Sakuya's knives and bouncing. She also has this thing with bullets being temporarily immaterial or invisible, things that carried over nicely into her Ultraviolet and Ultrared Field abilities. Although were later removed in 12.3 for gameplay reasons. Finally add in the "mind-breaking" of her confusion mechanic as well as the physical illusions of her normal movements as described in PMISS...
Basically everything but the laser eyes was directly derived from previous descriptions of her. Frankly, it seems to me like it was easier to make her a fighting game character than, say, Remilia or Yuyuko. Or Meiling. Or pretty much anyone other than Sakuya.

OK, I wasn't really thinking as clearly as I should have when I said "Reisen." In fact, I probably should have said "It's a fighting game based off of a Bullet Hell shump series, and so long as they stick to the general feel and theme of the character they can do damn well whatever they please." Sorry for the protracted argument, Clarste.
I sure said that!x5 Does that make Miyako the result of Wesker's ending?
If Satori were in a fighting game, she'd probably be a type of character that relies mostly on bullets as her main offense.
Edit: Off topic but my friend was on the Viewer Army segement of Attack Of The Show...playing Touhou in the Background

That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals.(hopes for Koishi in a fighting game, just 'cause)
Anyways, Satori... one theory about her I have is that, as a youkai, she has to speak others' thoughts out loud in order to maintain her youkai status/pride/whatever. Koishi, by closing her eye, also closed off her identity as a satori youkai (and became something else).
So I have that theory, as well as my past "Satori got in trouble last time she tried hiding her mind-reading ability, so she started always speaking others' minds to push them away" theory. And me being who I am, I'll probably have both in separate universes just 'cause.
(And yes, I do a lot of things just 'cause.)
Edit: Had a good proper listen to Satori Maiden ~ 3rd eye and... dang. This song might well be in my favorite Touhou music ever. It has just that right amount of a sinister air for a mind-reading, spellcard-copying tough boss, while still having a slight air of sadness about it to show how Satori really is hated by almost everyone that isn't one of her pets.
Oh, and it has an ominous chorus in the background, apparently. Which just makes it more awesome.

I never noticed that chorus before. Stupid distracting piano melody. Third Eye is a badass theme, though. SA's got my favourite soundtrack out of all the Touhou games. Nuclear Fusion makes your head explode from the awesome.

Song of the SirensOh, my! (nsfw ads)
Hmm... that image certainly raises some questions on the Recollection Spells.
How does she utilize them? Maybe it's some kind of hypnosis after all, but that still doesn't make sense. It would have to be more than hypnosis for that to work.
Satori would literally have to bend your mind to accept what she's doing. That's kind of Reisen's territory.
Maybe the Third Eye has powers we just cannot comprehend.
A simple-copy paste wouldn't work. Interesting note: ZUN notes then when using Suika's throw attack, she doesn't use her hands to throw the rock. She also becomes able to turn to mist. This isn't even getting into Alice and Nitori who use physical objects for their danmaku.
She also has a giant eye in the background during this entire time.
I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.THE DANMAKU ARE ALL IN YOUR MIND!
... Sooo turns out I'm definitely not finishing this big project while Satori's discussion is still active. Bummer, but I'd rather make it good enough that it can stand on its own and doesn't need the mild boost in relevance...
So when I find the time, tomorrow or the day after, I'll just write a little thing about her as normally. My perception of her is heavily influenced by Gensoukoumuten's Satori, of course, which inevitably makes her pretty important. It's an interesting choice to make her a diplomat, isn't it? Even without her mind-reading, she's apt to have a raised awareness of how people work just from the sheer experience she gathered doing it. But someone's gotta have elected her, right? How did that happen? Hmmm.
But they were all so real! I saw them! They were everywhere!
How would Satori become a diplomat? No one else wanted the job.
... or they were all drunk on election day. Yuugi is a good campaign manager.
I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.Hey, let's not forget her pets are both performing valuable public services.
Song of the SirensThe way I figure that Terrifying Hypnotism works is that it guides your mind to remembering other danmaku patterns. Maybe by verbal or nonverbal cues.
While you're dodging Satori's danmaku, you're thinking about other spellcards you've faced before. Then Satori picks and chooses whichever ones you remember as the hardest and that she can pull off without special abilities.
You may remember Reisen's patterns but she can't do the bullet phasing thing. Nor can she grow giant. Or teleport, probably.
Where it probably backfired is that instead of thinking in a rational way, Marisa and Reimu remembered their partner's danmaku since their partner had been nagging them the whole time.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI can see how Satori mimics Yukari, Nitori, Aya and Patchouli's mainly magic-based spellcards, but how does she mimic Alice's doll attacks, or Suika's strength based spellcards?

Song of the SirensMy point exactly!
Also, Exteeeeeding Aaaarrm! for Nitori requires the "arm of the kappa" as Kasen called it.
Does Satori just go Slender Man for a minute?... I just creeped my self out.
I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.Apparently, for Alice's cards, Satori recruits the help of some fairies, perhaps pet-fairies, and including explosive ones.
For Suika, she probably just fired danmaku in a way that simulated "Throwing Mt. Ooe". Same for Nitori's "Exteeeeeeending Aaaaaaarrrrm", with the help of some lasers.

Add in the fact that she hypnotized you to account for the perception gaps and you've got a near replica of a recollected spellcard.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMaybe she borrowed Rin's zombie fairies for the task? (we know they're not really zombies, just good-humoured.)
So, is all of Gensokyo susceptible to suggestion because that... would explain a lot actually.
I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.Just gonna say, because, hey, someone has to; cats. She throws her pet cats for Alice's spell cards.
I sure said that!
Uhhhh..... I've got nothing. As much as I like Satori, I've got nothing for her. Um, so I guess I'll leave this much:
