I'm about to finally begin sitting my ass down and working on a new story (well, not really new, but rehashed, perhaps), and I'd like to eventually get some feedback on it. Here's the thing: as some of you can imagine, any time I even hint at a story's basic plot, my emotional investment in it dies. Coincidence or not, I don't want this to happen. But at the same time, I think it might be neat to post bits of my story for feedback.

What do you think? And until I've decided, I won't even get into what it's about.

Finish a chapter before you talk about it and/or post samples.

^ That's what I usually do. (Though I'm thinking of making an archive thread for that soon.)
