It's going to be so great when all this shit blows up in Cersei's face.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Holy shit they're actually going through with this?
That...wasn't in the book.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Kiiiiinda not happy with that change.
What the fuck.
The bright side of this is that there's no way in the Seven Hells that Ramsay survives this season.
I'd post a full write up, but I have a Mad Men series finale to watch.
One good thought: pleased to see that Bronn survived.

I was really hoping Theon was going to kill Ramsay there. If you're going to diverge from the book why not go that route?
Not for long. He's poisoned.

That fucking ending.
Jesus Christ.
"I'm Commander Shepard, but I guess I'm now your therapist."I... I don't think I want to watch this anymore...
I'll just go and reread the latest excerpt from the Winds of Winter until I forget what happened today.
sigh, this is one of those things that'll probably get me to stop watching after this season.
....This is how I feel.
I'll take comfort in the fact that TWOW Sansa is happy and with someone that's at best a mild jerk.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Didn't GRRM say that he wrote a "controversial" Winds of Winter chapter for Sansa? Combine that with how Harry the Heir seems to be at the very least a Jerkass, and I don't think that the show is entirely to blame here.

There's a big difference between Harry the Heir and Ramsay Snow.
double post.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."The controversial scene was already shown to us in Alayne I for TWOW.
The controversy was basically Sansa not thinking of the Hound when it comes to her sexuality or whatever.
Also it wasn't GRRM who said it was controversial. It was Elio.
Elio accidentally hyped it up. And it was only supposed to be controversial for the San San fans.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Controversial because Sansa knew how to use a combination of manners, politeness judo, and very basic male female interaction to wind Harry around her finger.
And the end to that episode proves once again that the difference between the books and show is about the same as this◊.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |If I didn't feel like crying right now, I would laugh at how accurate that is.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Much worse in the books.
Difference is the worse happens to a character that you aren't so invested.
Tumblr and /tv/ are funny places now if anyone is feeling sadistic.
RealidadeIt's worse but only slightly. Both girls are humiliated and raped. Jeyne just gets raped by two men.
Keep in mind that Jeyne (from the books) was a non-noble sex slave with no authority or support. Show Sansa, as of the end of season 4, has the Vale behind her. The lords with one of the few fresh, untouched armies in Westeros offered to protect her. Instead, she leaves her army/allies behind (they think she's vacationing in the Fingers) and goes and marries the psychopathic son of the man who murdered her brother, helped kill her mother, and overthrew her family. This marriage allows that family to legitimize their claim to her childhood home. The thing that makes this so infuriating is that plenty of viewers (myself included) were pointing out the stupidity of her agreeing to go to Winterfell in episode 1/2.
Also, an additional factor is how at the end of season 4, several people involved in the show (Sophie Turner, Aiden Gillen, Benioff and Weiss, even the costume designers) were going on about how Sansa had become a player who would manipulate opponents for her own purposes. Instead, we've gotten Sansa being used as a character who lounges around in a cool black dress and talks a good game, but whose role in the series is exactly what it was before: be held captive by a band of family-murdering psychos while occasionally snarking or glowering at them. If rolling your eyes at dinner counts as playing the game, I could find a ton of toddlers that would qualify as Machiavellian geniuses.

.....
That god-damned ending!
And they poisoned Bronn! he better not die! He's fucking Bronn!
Damn this show! Damn! DAMN!! DAMN!!!
One Strip! One Strip! So Mad Men was a great series. Here are my thoughts on tonight's GoT episode:
- The House of Black and White is still amazing.
- Arya needs to finish her training so she can get her murder on.
- The High Sparrow pissed off the wrong family.
- I'm disappointed that TV!Tyene really is nothing like her book counterpart, who is the only interesting Sand Snake. Sand Snakes are boring, but the fight was decent.
- The High Sparrow just pissed off the wrong great house. I fully expect Olenna to burn Baelor's sept to the ground if the Sparrows harm her grandchildren.
- I really can't wait to see Cersei's plans blow up in her face.
- Speaking of Cersei's plans blowing up in her face, does she seriously not realize that Littlefinger is playing her?
- So, Sansa.
I disagree that Sansa's agency has been taken away because she's been raped. Sansa has the loyalty of the Northern smallfolk, Brienne, and probably Theon on her side. She has proven herself to be on the path to becoming a shrewd political manipulator. As she told Myranda, she's not afraid of anything in Winterfell.
Ramsay hasn't won yet. Sansa is going to destroy him.
Sansa is literally being set up to be rescued again by Brienne and Theon.
I've watched 4 years of TV Sansa on the show get developed just to see her character arc reset. What was even the purpose of the Darth Sansa ending? It just looks even dumber in hindsight.
Also Sansa lied as her facial reactions showed that she was pretty terrified after Myranda left.
I'd like to also note that the episode title is kinda tasteless in light of the ending.
Littlefinger is dumb as crap, I guess.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Oh come the hell on. Littlefinger would have to dig just a very tiny bit to uncover Ramsay flayed the shit out of surrendering forces at least twice, and what he has his name attached to.
Am I to believe Littlefinger wouldn't look into Ramsay until he knew everything down to the day he lost his first baby tooth? Littlefinger?
The Episode 7 trailer shows her commanding Theon. Being rescued doesn't diminish a character's agency if that character sets up the circumstances to allow themselves to be rescued.
I also really don't see Ramsay surviving the season. Roose will probably last until the Battle of Winterfell, but I can easily see Sansa or Theon killing Ramsay during their escape.
Ramsay won't be around. Apparently he's leaving next episode to battle Stannis.
A +writing

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."
I would've had the Harpies set up a better ambush, showing they know their city and that's why they're dangerous. Like, lure the Unsullied somewhere they can drop a bunch of rubble on them so half are dead right out.
