No people, no disease, no problem.
Inter arma enim silent legesGuys what do we do if one day we find out they really did cure cancer or discover unicorns or something?
Oh really when?Make a very big BBQ on the border and offer to share food with the researchers in exchange for the research data.

You simply demonise the regime for hiding them, and not showing any proof their previous claims. Invade, kill all leadership, monopolise the cure and make everyone beg for it.

Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleThough you'd have to decide whether discovering unicorns or having three really nasty diseases cured is really worth the firestorm that North Korea would rain on the South, and possible war with China.
If the unicorns can fly on rainbow beams? Yep, totally worth it.

That would be part of it.
Miniaturized Nuclear Weaponry. Advanced Space Rockets. Cure for awful diseases. Wow. Such tourism. Very North Korea. Much revenue. Amaze utopia.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. The thing about North Korea having a base on the moon is that, actually, North Korea is just a Nazi base in Korea.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"You could make a movie running on that tho
Inter arma enim silent legesSupposedly it's some sort of ginseng derivative.
"Yup. That tasted purple."They execute people using ginseng? That's horrible! I mean, worse than usual.
North Korea says they have a drug that can cure AIDS and MERS. It's called "Anti-Aircraft Fire". It works by starving the parasite of its host, destroying the parasite within a few hours. They gave it so several volunteers. Not a single one of them died of AIDS or MERS. Though these volunteers were all once vocally skeptical of the Kim Regime, from now on they'll never openly doubt their dear leader again.
Unfortunately, each dose of their drug costs about a quarter of North Korea's GDP.

I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.NK citizens get their state-sanctioned rage on. Grrrr! USA is evil!
Not very healthy, to say the least. Though it no doubt helps to sustain the regime.

Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleSo, a few days ago, five North Korean sailors found themselves drifting in South Korean territory. Three wanted to remain in South, while two wished to be sent home to North.
North wants South to repatriate all five, but South says it will respect the individual requests of the sailors.
Honestly this is a problem, because North is trying to claim that South is holding the sailors hostage, and would be using this to fight against accusations that North kidnaps and holds South Koreans and other nationals.
Shit happens. They can't send them back to the North for humanitarian reasons. They'll just have to deal with it.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiThe North also claims to have discovered a cure for AIDS, nobody actually believes the things that North Korea says. A few countries may pretend to believe such things for their own purposes, but nobody actually believes them.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranBesides, with the kidnapping cases North Kore has been involved they aren't the ones who should be complaining.
Inter arma enim silent legesI mean of course, South Korea should allow the sailors to decide if they want to stay or not, as it has done after the Korean War. But this gives North excuse to hit back when you try to have a dialogue with the North about the abductees. And we've seen many high-profile news lately about various people held hostage in North.
Think about when Japan received five of the living abductees from North in 2002, and then decided to have them stay there. This would be the right thing, but it was a breach of agreement made previously between Japan and North Korea that it was only supposed to be a temporary reunion visit to the Japanese homeland.
