Pretty sure vegeta did not learn much considering the beatings he received were usually a result of his saiyans pride or his ego writing checks he could not cash.

This is rather similar to perfect cell Vs vegeta the main difference being that it cell encouraged vegeta to go all out to show that his power in perfect form was much greater then his. In this case it won't be clear that cold was the stronger fighter if he wins. It would just mean he was the smarter fighter for picking the terms and not letting the opposition do so.

Also comparing her to Vegeta isn't too much of a defense because a lot of people hate Vegeta

That said, I agree that they're nothing alike and Bra is much less justified.

THAT said, I want her to beat the shit out of Cold because he's completely awful and wanting him to "punish" her seems really twisted.

I actually just want Bra to lose a fight for once; if the author wasn't content of completely disregarding everything from Battle of Gods and beyond, I'd love her to fight Universe 18 Goku or Vegeta, only for them to decimate her with Super Saiyan alone, then have Vegetto actually lose once Goku busts out Super Saiyan God.

Having Bra lose to Gast is enough for me. Cold beating her under the handicap would mean nothing would cause her to actually change in the way her critics want, unless you're just that desperate to see her out of the tournament.

Agreed. I have to admit, having her lose under a handicap wouldn't prove anything to her or make her re-think things.

Like I said, all Vegeta's defeats were fair and square. Beaten by stronger enemies when his ego started writing checks her ass couldn't cash.

Bra doesn't need to be beaten to within an inch of her life. She's just gotta be beaten fair and square like her half dad was. No tricks, no technicalities. She fights, and she definitively loses.

Of course, considering her dad is Vegeta (well, half of him), it's gonna to take a few loses to sink in, but one would be a good start.

Who is on after Gast? He's also a shitty fan character so I don't want him to beat Bra either.

I'm curious if that will actually appear. Salagir claims to have written the whole thing beforehand, but moments like Vegeta appearing in the Cooler special chapter, and having Beerus show up even though he didn't exist when this comic came out show he's gone a bit off-script.

Some time ago there was rumor that "he had some new form for Goku and Vegeta" since neither had shown their real power when Buu attacked. But with Beerus and Whis here, maybe he'll fold and just use Super Saiyan God anyway.

The specials are filler, and Beerus and Whis' appearance was padding. Neither suggest that he hasn't planned the main plot from the start.

I really doubt he'd derail his existing plans to introduce the form, especially when he doesn't seem to like it. Beerus and Whis having a cameo doesn't effect any other plans.

It was a two-panel scene during one of the lunch breaks.

Since they didn't exist when the comic started, Salagir seems to have taken a stance against using anything that wasn't directly in the original manga, or doesn't correspond with his perspective on it at least.

I guess he hasn't actually contradicted or owned up to changing anything in relation to Super, but I still get the vibe this comic hasn't gone exactly the way he originally planned it.

He had Broly there and amped him up, gave him two specials, fans didn't like him, now Broly hasn't been mentioned or heard from despite being the hook in the first chapter.

He made Bra into a hardass, people didn't like it, and now she's rarely seen or heard.

Quite a few specials were long and mostly unimportant, then in the Cooler special he gets right to the point and even mocks you for wondering why Vegeta's there.

I would be very pleased I'd bra kicks cold's rear end. I am probably in the minority for that. I don't exactly mind bra so much since she is not that different from a typical saiyan elite. She just has never had an opponent be stronger then her so she never had a situation where saiyan pride or arrogance wrote a check she couldn't cash. With the final rounds she is going to get that soon enough especially if vegito does go off the deep end at some point.

It's a shame that Vegito didn't give her that particular lesson. Both the Goku and Vegeta halves should be well aware of that one.

But Vegito is arguably the worst parts of those two, so it's not a shock. Plus the only person stronger than Bra....is him.

As for myself, I disagree that Bra losing to Cold won't teach her a lesson in humility. Right now, she's so cocksure that she doesn't regard this match as anything more than extra training. She isn't taking her promise to the Heliorites seriously and is absolutely sure that she won't need to go Super Saiyan and will just breeze right through this match. If she loses, she fails to keep her promise and her arrogance might even cost Bra her life. Not that big a deal since she'd be wished back at the end, but I think it would really hammer home that she's not infallible.

I think I'm kinda indifferent on whether she wins or loses. I just want this to be a good fight.

I also would prefer it to be a defeat where she was able to go all out and was still not powerful enough. Just as it was with perfect cell Vs vegeta. Her loss only really becomes a problem if Goku, vegeta and uub also lose.

That and the hurdle that is zen buu. She treats it like training probably because she has never had a real fight since I would imagine there is no one near her level minus vegito or gohan in her universe.

That and I would imagine that gast depending on his wish could potentially result in New dragon balls.

Have Perfect Cell and Vegeta fought yet?

In multiverse no yet, but I more referencing what happened when vegeta fought perfect cell in dragon ball Z. Where he was crushed by cell despite using everything he had.

It's the reason why some people want vegeta to overcome perfect cell in the tournament.

Well of course Vegeta's going to beat Cell. That's how we get Goku vs Vegeta in the semi-finals.

Vegeta NOT winning against Cell is simply impossible.

Sorry, but there is 0% chance of Bra dying here. She will go Super Saiyan and be disqualified before letting King Cold kill her.
