What happened to the guy that was giving her the shots in the bathroom?
They shapeshifted into the woman who stumbled in on them and pretended to be Bolivia's hostage.
Yep. Evidently he was killed, either in Walternate's Boston lab or afterwards, and sent to balance out Bolivia. Apparently cut down to her mass.
EDIT: Oh! Had to have it pointed out to me, but the title pulses between colors in this episode.

Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? Why did Peter kill the Shapeshifter? Not only because it's just making things ridiculously traumatic for the daughter, but the shapeshifter wasn't a threat, Bolivia had the Gun, he should have shot her hand off or something if they wanted her alive to question her. I mean I know the guy had just killed the woman so I'm not sympathetic or anything but....eh. I have strange attitudes to these situations on TV.....
Anyway, are we still going to have Earth-2 Episodes this season?

DumboI'm surprised none of the FBI/NYPD guys could take the head shot.
Alt-Olivia was meant to be taken alive.

Power corrupts. Knowledge is Power. Study hard. Be evil.Ah, good point.
Yay for me.
Power corrupts. Knowledge is Power. Study hard. Be evil.I had some Fridge Brilliance on the guide description of "Marionette": The team investigates a case of a stolen heart.
Relational drama isn't really my thing, but I think it was handled pretty well this time.
...did the last victim ever get his eyes back?
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? It's also a callback to "Brown Betty".
Dumbo"Firefly" just aired apparently. And the Observers continue to be infuriatingly ambiguous.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?"The Firefly". Christopher Lloyd is visited by a time-traveling kid from 1985. Rock and roll is a key part of a story about preserving the right future.
This show is awesome.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!Oh man, I loved Christopher Lloyd. He has to come back to the show sometimes.
Also: loved the Twin Peaks shout out. "Dr. Jacobi from Washington State." And those glasses. Ha!
Good news: Ratings were actually up a little bit.
DumboOh, and Violet Sedan Chair's album is great. I've listened to it a few times already.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!Oh that is awesome.
I read somewhere about them making actual L Ps and putting them in record stores....I don't have the link.
There was a deleted scene in the Season 2 finale that name-checked VSC, BTW.
Dumbo...wow. Shipping is suddenly Serious Business here.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?...yeah. I'm not a big fan of that plot twist.
All I can think after Sam's explanation near the end of the episode is that the plot of this show is starting to sound a lot like that of Rah Xephon, though perhaps somewhat less complicated.
Also, the geography nerd side of me is amused that even though they don't film in Massachusetts, they still use real towns as settings in name. Quincy, Pembroke, Washington Vermont, the use of I-89 (it is indeed in New Hampshire and is the right way over to Vermont) all show that they care about getting a lot of things right. So that's cool. And I think that may have been a real map brochure thingy from the Museum of Fine Arts, which I have been to twice...it's a nice place. And it actually did just open a new wing, so that's kind of weird that they incorporated that into the plot (sort of) too.

Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series.A really good twist for me would be if Peter getting together with Fauxlivia is actually the one that would save the universes, while getting together with our Olivia would doom them. Although that might mean even more angsting.
I'm hoping that the only way to save both universes would be for Peter, Olivia, and Fauxlivia to implement the Tenchi Solution.
We all hope that, my friend.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!I don't mind the new plot twist with Fauxlivia being pregnant as much as I did the love-triangle-decides-fate-of-worlds twist, but does anyone else find it excessively implausible that a trained undercover agent would forget something as simple as "use contraception when sleeping with a source"?
I don't think she was trained as an undercover agent; she wasn't even told about the other side until Olivia crossed over, IIRC.

I didn't understand that at all, maybe I missed something with the poor visual quality of what I watched. The guy who appeared in the Van after Fauxlivia shifted was Alt-Broyles? Huh? I had no idea who it was or what had happened watching it.
