So Landon's arriving? Good.
A surprising number of survivors, but still none of the people who could talk Chinook down.

The living dead seem to be ahead of schedule.
Does that mean they weren't actually needed for medical assistance? Granted, it seems there's still a pretty strong need for "Security", and they're better at that anyways.
Seems like the need for both medical assistance and security provisioning may have just increased a tiny bit.
I wouldn't want to be the person who has to tell GoodGirl that Para, unlike these folks, is more than just Mostly Dead.
Speak of the semi-sentient massive suit of power armor and she appears:

Yup, SilkSilver (aka GoodGirl) is about to have her hopes dashed...
This is a good time to delegate responsibility.
I'm actually sort of hoping that the storyline ends with them not accepting a promotion to their current putative rank. They don't seem very suited to ordering people around due to their personality, and there's nothing wrong with choosing not to be an officer.

That seems like the most likely way for the story to end, yes. She's doing a perfectly fine job of it (by Tagon's Toughs standards), she just hates doing it.
Big Sunday cartoon up.

And as far as I'm concerned the furry things are still not kittehs, they are puppehs, okay?
I absolutely agree.
Worldbuilding is fun, writing is a choreThe government will deny it, of course, but Tagon's Toughs have learned how to use the media to make their point.
So Schlock's not just an effective killing machine, he's also a really good intel weenie? Nice.
Don't give him too much credit. He was about to delete it before Elf stopped him. We've known for a while that Schlock is a great infiltrator, it's just he's a bit too... straight forward to make good spook material.
You know, if they tell Schlock that doing so will be conducting informational warfare, I bet he'll take right to it.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. While I'm sure parts of the government will deny this, the fact that people were worried about Elf getting a fair trial because she'd talk makes it clear that the government is not some massive, racist bloc. Getting this out in public will hurt the racists. It will probably also cause a lot of chaos in the system, which is why even the non-racists are grudgingly willing to murder people to cover it up, but lying to your own people always comes back to bite you in the end.
Assuming the amorph didn't get there first.
Aww, poor Schlocky. Look at his sad eyes.
I think a good defense could get Schlock off on the technicality that he was trying to save his superior officer from being victim of a war crime.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
Blinky.
