Chinook, it's the slightly less insane Remanent of Taglii. Looks like she ditch the Balloon based avatar.

Oh right. I forgot that Tagii changed her name. I guess she did that to fit in better with the balloon people?
Maybe she has two avatars, one for the Offa, one for the rest?
Well the balloon avatar was only adopted as a disguise. It's not surprising that now that she's not lying, she came up with a new one.
No, she had that one at the end too, after they had worked everything out with Broken Wind.
Didn't yet have time for reimagining back then, but plenty during the trip.
I like how she's settled down enough to call the Toughs "friends" now.
I assume she'll show up at parties and be like "Hey, Thurl! Remember when I ripped your head clean off? Good times, good times."
Well it's not surprising that the cure for an unfathomable length of time in isolation is to be re-socialized. Though she has come out of the ordeal a lot more... Schlock-like than she started.
I see Vog still isn't playing nice.

Ooh, pretty
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedDriving point home about how crazy the tech level is.
I wonder how will he react to teraport.
"So, what else from wild sci-fi of our people can I expect from you? Teleportation?"
"Uh, actually, yes."

Sooner or later though it's going to come out that the station was built at about the same time (give or take a few percent) his own people were in their heyday.
Well, give or take a few percent (or even a few tenths of a percent) means it's likely it was built either a million years before or after their peak.
The scale is 12 million, +/- 1 mya is 8%, not "tenth of a percent"
Interesting thought: I'm pretty sure there are more amorphs left alive than Vog's own people. By, like, an order of magnitude. Does anyone have a link to when they explained the downfall of their civilization?
Considering that amorphs have been hanging around and reproducing for millions of years while the immortals secluded themselves into one hidden valley - most definitely yes. Several orders of magnitude even.

So I'm calling it now: By the end of this arc, Murtaugh is going to leave the Toughs to command whoever does law enforcement for this station. (Which will probably be a group that the Toughs create themselves, somehow).
At this point Murtaugh doesn't have a deck under her feet, but she does have plenty of experience with law enforcement, so the current optimum solution is surprisingly easy to engineer.
Might stop any "Not in the same chain of command" issues Tagon has :P
YES I SHIP THEM SUE ME
"You can reply to this Message!"I've always assumed she was introduced to be his love interest.
I'm betting that, the robot is not actually out of control and Para is just testing it's resistance to damage.
Well apparently it's not very good on that front. Also, new plasgun? I don't recall any previous weapon making those halos?

He had to plasgun it, that's pretty tough.
He probably figured to pulse the plasma to stay afloat in one place instead of his usual screeching speed flyaround.
Well the thing was the size of a tank, or thereabouts, so he couldn't have wrestled it, and he doesn't usually carry any other weapons besides the plasgun. They were probably going the other way anyway, testing how easy it would be to deal with them if they went rogue.

So has this AI on the right shown up before? I think she's new.
I like her hair.
