Any situation in which it would actually be more worthwhile to gamble on a 30% accuracy attack than doing literally anything else is already a lost cause.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Not really. Smogon bans them for a reason. A lot of the time, one of your mons is setup fodder or otherwise unable to do much to whatever's in front of them — so, when you're in that situation, and switching is inadvisable (you're already at a 70% chance of giving it a free turn, so let's say you have no safe switchins), then a 30% of killing them for free is pretty dang good. There's also Focus Sash and Sturdy to consider. Not sure if anything gets Prankster OHKO, though.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Ah, fuck it, why not just run down this tangent.
The ban on OHKO moves in Pokemon is in some ways The Artifact from the competitive scene in Gen I, when their success rate was a function of the difference in speed. In several cases, this could be an even more lethal build than the crit machines built off Slash (Horn Drill Rapidash in particular was nasty - for that matter, so was Toxic Fire Spin Rapidash).
And to be fair, there is a scenario in which the OHKO move is the smart move - namely, you know you'll only get one last attack in, and no other attack could possibly hope to take out your opponent. That's pretty much the popular reason the OHKO ban is still in effect - it turns the entire prospect from a game of skill to a roll of the die (well, even more of one, speaking as someone who abuses flinch regularly).
There is one other scenario in which the OHKO moves are a viable selection, although that's more for Nintendo's now-preferred format of doubles battles - it's extremely easy to send out a combination that will create a OHKO Death Machine in a single round (pair a Smeargle holding a Focus Sash with Skill Swap and Sheer Cold out with anything with No Guard - Machamp with Wide Guard is an ideal choice, though Eviolite Doublade with Wide Guard is strangely feasible). Sure, it'll fail against the Focus Sash and any Sturdy users (and they laughed - laughed - when I used Shuckle), but that's still a lot of potential targets, and you can probably wipe out at least half of the teams out there with the combo.
That said, if we're applying Pokemon logic to the current fight, Spider-Fat looks like he'd be Bug/Dark, so just wailing away with a STAB Flying move (and don't tell me Tara isn't the type to have Brave Bird... though heck, even Aerial Ace seems like something she'd take) is clearly Tara's best move.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Going back to Tiger Eagle Guillotine: does the move kind of sound Narmy to anyone else?
It's the "Tiger Eagle". Like, I know Tara's a tiger eagle griffon thing but that should be normal to her. It's weird for her special attacks to classify her like that, as though she has other attacks that aren't Tiger Eagle moves or her fighting style is unusually adapted for Tiger Eagle purposes.
It's like if I had an attack called "Heterosexual White Guy Kick!" It raises the question: okay, so what are your other moves? Did you cross-class to Asian Lesbian Uppercut?

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I think it would be more like "Hairless Stringy Ape Roundhouse!". She shouldn't have much reason to think of herself as a tiger eagle.
Plus, Asian Lesbian Uppercut is really unoptimized. Heterosexual White Guy Kick has a double Patriarchy bonus, which is far more effective in most of the Western world.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Nah man, you get one attack for every thing that you are. So you'd get Heterosexual Kick, White Punch and Dragon Slap, among others. In order to multiclass, you need one of the specialized labels first, like non-binary, agnostic or mixed heritage. Attacks that have multiple attached labels are generally stronger, as they're harder to qualify for and learn.

But then you just risk diluting too much. Agnostic-element attacks are way too passive.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Yeah, I definitely found myself laughing at the attack name. Calling your attacks is rarely done well.
Agnostic can work for certain builds- it's nice because it allows unlimited religions, so you can piece together some really crazy stuff if you know what you're doing.
And I don't know about Heterosexual White Guy Kick. The double patriarchy bonus is pretty sweet, but it also saddles you with a bunch of Privilege that makes it a huge pain in the ass if you're trying to keep Bigotry low. I've been favouring Introvert Glare, personally.

Named attacks work if the attack is absolutely mind-bogglingly epic.
Or if you're supposed to laugh at them, such as this early gem.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Goddamn, we've come a long way.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.And in some ways, we've stayed exactly the same. Anywho, I too was confused by the name guillotine, but I was more surprised that she was able to slash him in half with a single claw. I guess that's magic for you.
As for my classes, I wish I had optimized better. Who knew making Charisma your dump stat wasn't the best idea?
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️This is TVT, everyone picked Intelligence over Charisma.

Oh hai confidence Sarah and nude Ellen
So, in the comments I find out that A) Shive and I both grow older in less than a week and B) he is much younger than I thought. I thought he was much closer to 40 for some reason. Instead we're like 9 years apart.
The Blog The ArtYeah, early EGS makes a lot of sense when you realise it was written by a teenager.
...
I have no words. I literally have no idea what to think about this moment.
EDIT: Well, I've managed to form one thought and that is that the flying dress concealing Grace!Sarah is exactly how the "naked people conveniently behind objects" gag is supposed to work. Instead of a fourth-wall breaking Censorship Bird, the dress is continuing to serve its purpose as an article of clothing even as it's lobbed through the air.

xsomething Wait, you post an example of mind-bogglingly epic Calling Your Attacks examples and you don't pick this? Also for some reason EGS is not working for me at the moment. Anyone else have this problem?

Clicking the posted link didn't work for me. I had to use my bookmark.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️Yeah, that's what it was. Weird for a link to break like that.
@22489 I don't think he's been slashed in half (at least, not yet). I thought that was just stylized to show that serious damage had been delivered. Also, she used three claws, not a single claw.
@22490 I don't recall having a choice in the matter.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
They don't not work, is my point.
