They were bored?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Because Windows 10 is two versions better than Windows 8.
Fresh-eyed movie blogOnly way that could be the case is if they ditched the stupid "what do you mean some computers aren't tablets" motif of 8.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. Is it wrong that I actually don't mind Windows 8? I'm using it right now. And Internet Explorer for that matter.
Oh God! Natural light!x2 They did, actually.
They brought back the start menu. Basically, you can use the "Desktop mode" on desktops, and the tiles on tablets.
I've found it perfectly fine once I downloaded a program that adds the start menu back.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I hate everything new. Word and such were better when the menus were laid out logically in version '97 or whatever.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWindows 10 has Desktop mode (with a Start Menu that has a traditional column and a column of tiles) for mouse-and-keyboard use, Metro mode for tablets, and Continuum mode for convertibles (and probably touchscreen all-in-ones).

Fresh-eyed movie blogI don't care about the Start menu, I just wanted greater flexability in determining window sizes.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. You can do that even in normal Windows 8.
It's the same as it's always been.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I think Metro/Live Tiles are a pretty good idea, and Windows 8 tablets are probably more like what I wanted tablets to be (iOS is a really good interface for a phone-sized computer, but it's too simplified for something big enough to get work done on), but it was really boneheaded to completely ignore traditional interface systems.
Multitasking doesn't feel like multitasking if I can't see everything I've got in the background, dammit!
Fresh-eyed movie blogYou can't skip nine! It's the BEST NUMBER. It MAKES ITSELF with digital roots. You can do the nine times table with your fingers!
Song of the SirensFrankly I'm more concerned that they skipped Windows War.
As if OS names actually mean anything in the long run.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.I was waiting for someone to come up with that one.

Ok, him supporting the Conservative party is documented, but "ass"? Rather rude.
Oh God! Natural light! So long as Christopher Lee isn't actively promoting abusive behavior or putting money towards harmful causes, I really don't care. I mean, I like him in everything he's been in (and I've seen more of his oeuvre than most people would care to), so I'm fine just ignoring his politics.
He's gonna croak soon anyway.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I mean.
I don't think Christopher Lee has done any Doctor Who thingies.
Apparently those really amazingly good Eleventh Doctor comics have decreased in quality. Aw.
I missed these insane rambling conspiracy theories. Although now it seems kinda racist given it's saying someone of african descent is fundamentally untrustworthy. Just a little bit.
...I mean, I liked the DoctorDonna. And Handyman. And, y'know. Basically everyone there that wasn't the original Ten.
Goddammit Davies.

Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Yeah, he's a fine actor who's turned in some fantastic performances in brilliant films. I don't want to diminish his accomplishments. I just... find myself unable to get into passionate celebration of him either. And am a cynical bastard who felt like raining on people's parades.
That theory is dumber than the one where Rory was the Master because he owned a watch.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt kind of lost me right at the beginning when it start mirroring the classic Doctors with the new ones. Like, Nine has more in common with Six than anyone else, Ten is primarily based on Four and Five, and it's well-documented that Two was the biggest influence on Eleven. And Twelve seems to be taking a lot more cues from One and Three than anyone else.
So, I mean, that scores 0/4. And that's just the first premise.
...So they actually did skip 9. Why?
Oh God! Natural light!
