Also assuming that regular giants have the same standard body temperature as humans then something built to operate at freezing would only be around 11% cooler.

Based on the direction he was facing and the direction everyone lost balance in, I would say it's probably more of a front flip.

This strip almost feels like a response to the speculation about what species Oona was.

"You call that a frost giant? I'll give you frost giants!"

(Or, you know, the Order happens to be flying into the territory of the brand new race of antagonistic humanoids introduced at the godsmoot, who represent the first signs of opposition to their meddling from the Yes-voting deities. Put it this way, there's a reason so many people were expecting frost giants to show up at some point.)

Well, in this case, less relevant in the face of frost giants. They have a chunk of hit points and hit hard in melee, but all but the most gimped mage can easily run circles around that. Even without a cleric, the sheer numbers is all that makes this any kind of challenge for the Order,

Nice to confirm that this isn't a random encounter, but a trap, though that was pretty obvious already. You don't get random encounters in an airship unless it's Deathguise (Doom Gaze).
