Speaking of cutting things open, looks like the Wampa just noticed his dinner's getting away.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI have to wonder what someone who has never seen the Star Wars films would think to read this comic.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I never saw the Star Wars movie, though I know big chump of the plot via pop culture for the 4-6 episode and I read a funny satirical recaps of the first three.
I think the comic is funny.
Stop whatever it is you are doing. Right now. And then go watch one of the greatest movie series to ever exist.
But what if 'e's already seen Back To The Future?

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.then he's only seen one of the greater ones.
I'm baaaaaaackMake sure to watch the first (and only the first) Star Trek movie first, in order to lower your expectations down into the gutter.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."I always thought that leg swipe was funny in the original - I'm glad they mocked it a little bit with that "count my legs" comment.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I've never watched Star Wars either. *ducks*
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajThen watch Star Wars.

Watch it in this order, 4,1,2,5,3,6 I'd say.
Lol, people actually made articles on how best to watch them:
- Ernst Rister order: 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6
- Machete order: Same, minus Episode I.
I attended a panel at PAX East 2012 on "raising gamer kids" when that question came up: what order to watch the films in. It was universally agreed that II was the worst and could be skipped without harm, and that IV needs to be first, but beyond that it was a matter of some controversy.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What about 1? I'm the only one in my circle of friends who thinks you should watch it as part of the main sequence.
It's certainly important to establish Anakin's origin story and explain why we should care about the characters when they show up in Episode 3. If you can overlook the abomination that is Jar-Jar (and my son liked him, so hey, it worked out on at least that level).

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm no Jar-Jar or midichlorian hater, but I'd agree with Machete that Ep II shows the start of Anakin's descent better than Ep I.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."That's true. That portion of Anakin's story is important, as is how we end up in a huge war in Episode 3, but it's the horribly, painfully written love story that drives me (and everyone else) bananas.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"To be fair, it drove Anakin bananas, too.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Ba-dum! Good one. You think Anakin went crazy not because he fell in forbidden love with Padmé, violated the Jedi code to wed her, and executed a bunch of sandpeople for killing his mother, but because the lameness of the story was too much for him?

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"To answer stingerbrg, I doubt I will be watching Star Wars outside a very special occasion. Watching a film when you know the plot twist is not fun, and I strongly suspect it is vastly overrated.
Knowing a plot twist ahead of time is a bullshit excuse not to watch something.
If the only reason to see the movie is the twist. Yhea, however the fact is that even if you know the twist, it's a fun movie.
I do like the Machete order and I think it works pretty well. You watch Empire and see the darkest hour for everyone and the Vader revelation. You skip TPM and move to AOTC and meet Anakin as Obi-wan's temperamental student. He and Padme have a past together and their relationship moves ahead. Anakin has anger issues and you watch him fall in ROTS. Then you return to ROTJ and see Luke as a dark robed figure Force Choking guards and threatening people, just like his father?
TPM becomes the prequel movie you don't particularly need to see. I believe they said the only real continuity issue is the mention of Qui-gon at the end of ROTS.
Edit: Without planning games with the narrative or engaging in prequel-hate and snobbishness, my simple order is to watch the two trilogies in their release order. See what made Star Wars the empire it is, then watch the modern continuation. I've personally never believed in Lucas' phantom, forty years old, outline for nine movies.

Just go with the order they were released, IMO.
I'm baaaaaaack
I cant wait until they cut the thing open...
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst lies
