Or a large dragon at the gate, then on a flying bike could have clued Gil in. My first thought was that the trank was for Agatha.
I still think someone or something is coming through that window.
Next window over is actually open.
Ooo! It is! Wonder how that happened? Someone suggested dingbots, I rather like the idea of sneakity little dingbots creeping around on the roof, ready to rescue their Lady.
- off to sleep now, quite happily, Good Agatha!*

We didn't see that window before. Maybe it always was.
I was about to say that I was dead against anything which derails a story arc that reaches its fitting climax in the decisive battle for Mechanicsburg...
...and then of course the new page pops up early and the ground shifts beneath your feet.
I don't think it much of a stretch to suggest that the hypo —- or one like it —- was meant for Agatha.
It wouldn't be the first time.
The entire scene seems cribbed from one of Klaus's badly out-of-date playbooks.
So, this time it looks like Agatha's yell of Showtime! will be a little more dramatic. We've already had the mirage ... so what about the bonsai hedge maze?
The last messagebot.
Barry. Bill.
The last Jaegergeneral.
The Citadel of the Silverlight.
When Moloch will get to use that poison capsule.
Enigma.
The Muses and their many questions.
How many other open questions have we been given?

C'mon Agatha, hurry up and zap the castle already!
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...I'm thinking Gil didn't escape. He was released.
Shock and DaaaaaaaaaaawwwI'd take that as a given.
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesMaybe he smelled wrong and that was what Franz detected. Also occured to me that if the tranq was meant for Agatha it's not going to keep something Franz' size out for very long.

Trump delenda estPage contains exactly the pose I had envisioned when I typed the words, "Come with me, if you want Mechanicsburg to live.", almost eerily so.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Hm. Those are more Klaus's colours than what we've seen Gil in before (other than the half-mourning clothes).
Okay, Gil has definitely blown the second proposal even before he has made it. As I said before this is not the Gil we know from before. He has definitely been tampered with.
For the next scene I am imagining the Firefly showing up. Othar saves Agatha from Gil. Tarvek saves Gil from Othar and Gil himself. If Moloch's along he gets left with saving the castle. Come to think of it he would probably enjoy zapping the castle.
Pages will show how hard it is to outguess the Foglios.

Levity is what keeps airships afloat. Everything else is just ballast.See, that pose makes me think of 'Do you trust me?' 'What?' 'Do you trust me?', because I'm a Disney geek like that.
GIL STOP BEING CRAZY! You are breaking my heart :(
I want my normal Gil back!!!
That said I am massively intrigued, and not at all worried that when Agatha zaps the roof Franz will come to any harm. He's been zapped before. He'll probably like it.
did anyone else "snerk" when Gil said "stay right there." Yah. Riiight.
DoodlesI cannot avoid giving a pun now that someone mentions Disney and the stand part...
Well here goes nothingAs long as we are going full Ogglespoon, is it possible that Agatha has actually been "promised" to someone in some way?
Among the greatest of Cliffhanger Fridays! C'mon, lightnin' . . .
If it moves, eat it!I cannot complain but it seems that the time for Mechanicsburg spot should advance a bit since this lightning is taking more sweet time than the snail in What's new...
Well here goes nothingLightning has a ways to go before it starts to get on my nerves like "Search For the Cure".
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.I think it would be hilarious if Krosp jumped out the open window and tangled himself into Gil's feet to trip him up and save Agatha. Yet again, we'd have to wait to find out if Gil obeys Agatha.
This idea brought to you by my cats.
Ah... the good old spring-from-the-long-curtain-while-the-victim-is-going-down-the-stairs-carrying-a-wardrobe-with-another-victim trick... :|
Yeah. It's a classic.
So the threat of the watch your shoes in the bar scene wasn't a bad idea...
Edit: Seems it is not going to be an early update... should prepare myself to bed if needed but I have a couple of things on the to do tray: My own works and possibly just a thing to annoy the local cameo reporter on the site I update things. But to be honest working on special effects by pencil is a hard task if done by conscience.

Well here goes nothing
How different is dragon physiology to the physiology of the other critters running around? Especially to mad science? Could have just been a general-purpose tranq.
