I keep forgetting that because, in part, I don't know where said Word of God comes from. I know it's been hinted enough in the comic that I wasn't terribly surprised when I heard it.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.A particular stupid idea but that happens when fridge logic pairs up with the potty.
The refugees are part of the original Vespiary Squad.
Well here goes nothingI don't know if Foglios have said anything outright. A fan asked Phil for a sketch of "Chump", and the resulting portrait was obviously Klaus in Skifandrian getup. Also, when asked for more information about Skifandrian culture, Foglios said "They don't like twins." (Which would clarify Klaus's belief that Zeetha is out to kill Gil because Klaus "kept [Gil] alive.")
The Girl Genius wiki takes it as read that Gil and Zeetha are twins.
@51728 If it makes you feel better, I've been wondering if that's the case as well. The main argument against it is that the upheaval with the Vespiary Squad was about 3 years ago in-comic. You'd think that the refugees would have escaped or have been purged by now. Which isn't to say that it's impossible, but I think they'll come back in a different manner.
@51729 Ah, so it's technically just piecing together other pieces of Word of God together (which admittedly all fit very cleanly together, to the point that I imagine it'd be a Shocking Swerve to us all if they suddenly revealed otherwise). Okay, I feel a little better about using Weasel Words when discussing the possibility before.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I post regularly over on the GG Wiki, and it should be made clear that we're just a bunch of fans. The Foglios are not involved in any capacity.
Gil's apparent status as a prince of Skifander may be necessary to get over some problem or other with Albia. Just a guess from my Wild Burro.
The new page is up. Too bad we'll have to wait until Monday to see who is getting off the ship.
Tarvek seems to know something. I'm wondering: Vespiaries? Under the protection of the Jaeger Generals?
My guess is that the ship's passengers are the constructs who infiltrated castle Wulfenbach, and are Krosp and the bear constructs, and likely Vapnoople as well. He decided to rescue Poppa.
The Jaegergenerals are all locked up in Mechanicsburg. Krosp and the Bears and Dr. Dim are the only option that really makes sense plotwise.
Cue Sepphi and several members of the Sturmvoraus marching in procession.
Well here goes nothingIt's the Wulfenbach High School marching band!
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesMy WAG is that it's the mini-clanks led by Queenie. Krosp and company are more logical but the direction Agatha's looking indicates that either she's in a very high room or the 'passengers' are very small.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!The first panel also has Agatha looking down to see the airship docking. Wooster says they're in a secure room. So I'm thinking they're observing from above.
Queenie and Co. are all back in the depths of Castle Heterodyne, inside the time-bubble. I suppose they could hand-wave something about the Castle getting them out, but..
The time stop is both useful and frustrating isn't it? On the one hand it put on hold a lot of loose ends, so we don't have to worry about them until they get brought back up again. On the other hand it put on hold a lot of loose ends, meaning nothing is going to happen with them until they get brought back.
What about a few Dreen? Or some of the Lady Milvistle's followers?
I'm pretty sure it ain't Grandma.
Grandma would know better.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!Guys, there are other large hordes of clanks that might be interested in returning to Agetha. Like her clockwork clanks for instance :)
The report Wooster read said "constructs", which is not the same thing as "clanks". And Agatha's various left-behind clanks, even assuming any of them are outside the Mechanicsburg time-bubble, would have no reason to go looking for her on Castle Wulfenbach.
Besides those clanks don't look like the ones that are willing or better said able to talk. Outside the Schwein copters and the deer clank. They just speak in their special picture format...
Well here goes nothingThe new page is up It is as we suspected.
Heil dem Bärenkönig, Baby.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Looking grumpy... And, I don't mean just the bears. :/
Word of God is that Gil and Zeetha are fraternal twins.
