Satisfying, but still, you'd think he have had some protection in place, especially before going into battle..
He wasn't trying to kidnap her, he grabbed or pinched her butt. Only casually stupid instead of terminally.

Ah, less plotting, more skeevy. Apparently he does sexually harass Agatha even when it's not in service to a plan after all.
I love the forth panel. I like the fact that she's given both a good reason not to kill him and a very good reason not to do so. Also, all things considered, that was an appropriate response the sexual harassment.
Given the sound effect I suspect Tweedle was wearing some protection. It just wasn't sturdy to hold up to a really solid, direct hit from a sparky, enraged young woman who's been receiving Skiffandrian warrior training. Or in other words, it wasn't good enough.
Say- do you think Tweedle might have interpreted the interactions of the lat couple pages as being flirtatious?

'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseGiven the sound effect... Well, I'm not that confident about the wannabe-Storm King's ability to produce heirs, let's just say.
And is it just me, or does Tweedle's last line sound almost OOC? Like he'd ever admit it.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Oh, he had protection. "Crunch!"
Zeetha's expression is about as close to terminal as it gets without having her sword being thrust through your throat.
I read Tweedle's last line as trying not to get crunched again.
If we gave Darwin Awards to fictional characters, that would DEFINITELY have earned him one.
Tweedle, you're alive on sufferance. Do. not. push. it.
And for every guy who's drawn, animated, or directed a woman defending herself in a ridiculously wussy way -THIS is how you do it!
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettNot that he didn't deserve the "crunch", but I can't help but think part of the... enthusiasm of her reaction is at least in part because of how easily she was kidnapped previously, at the start of this time skip plot.
I for one much prefer her as "damsel causing distress" over her being "damsel in distress".
All your safe space are belong to TrumpTweedle's last line might also because of being a little punch drunk.
And yes, she probably is still a little sore about the whole kidnap thing.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettConsidering the CRUNCH! I would assume that not only did his protection fail it was driven inward. He may need surgery to have it removed.

Trump delenda estYes, I think so. Her reaction to a similar act without the kidnapping background was much less severe. http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20040310#.VJjjneCgA
'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curse"Say- do you think Tweedle might have interpreted the interactions of the lat couple pages as being flirtatious?"
Well I for one saw her as weakening for a moment. If this all turns out to be some sort of Foe Yay, I'm quitting.
Okay, 1. good job, Agatha!
2. Where is Tybalt on this page, anyway? Did somebody restrain him off-panel? Or does his doggy mind figure that this is just how things go — you come on to the pretty girl when she's not in the mood, and she smacks the heck out of you — and Tybalt doesn't want to interfere and thus look like he's hitting on the human female, that would just be weird. ;)
Agatha is the alpha female, regular pack members let her decide how to react to come-ons.
And, yes, I think Tweedle was trying to flirt. Didn't succeed.
I honestly don't think Fs are trying to set up any Foe Yay going on. Tweedle was shown in too many situations that seems specifically designed for us to hate him, this was probably a reminder and Tweedle's delusion showing once again. He was probably trying to be "seductive", since in his eyes there is some sexual tension to speak off, which of course is not true.
I think the closest they've gotten to out-and-out Foe Yay is Seffie and Gil...
Either Tybalt is letting the 'alphas' sort things out properly, or he knows not to get in the way of a cheesed-off Sparky lady. :p If anything, he's probably facepalming (facepawing?) over a male going after a female who was clearly not receptive, possibly thinking along the lines of 'silly humans'.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettYou know, I'd hang back as a werewolf guard. Sometimes, your charge needs to learn things. When a bitch means "no", it's supposed to end in pain. That's normal.
Okay, this is WMG, and it's not like Tweedle needs a reason to be a jerk or overestimate Agatha's receptiveness, but... his first line is reminding me of "we work well together". Did he meet Lucrezia or some Agatha/Lu merge who was more receptive when she built him a hand? Because it's not like they've... ever worked together, closely or otherwise, outside of that.
That would be so creepy, but it might actually explain a lot. And Agatha did say that, even with the locket, see felt more influenced by Lucrezia when she was feeling exhausted. He interacted/worked with her when she was actually sleepwalking (the first time she's done so, as far as we know, since Lu came in to visit).

'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseSleepsparking now that reminds me...
If I end up in a Girl Genius campaign I'll avoid taking the Sleepsparking flaw, too much fun in the short term but will derail campaigns a lot.
Well here goes nothing...and the downside of that would be? (and not necessarily derailing anyways, depending on the GM and what s/he causes to happen while you're sleepsparking, though IDK how that works :p)
Well I'd end up putting enough sleep potions around to not lose time sparking awake so sparking awake and sparking asleep, eventually it would either bring the railroading OR the rolling something I'd make something stupid (like creating the whistle of stoat calling and wire it to the exhaust of my steam powered clank).
It is just a thought but then again I'd like a bit of an indepth analysis on that one.
Well here goes nothingI was thinking about Tarvek in the novel and I realise this came up a few pages back now (and this isn't about his niceness) but the thing that struck me about Tarvek in the novel was how much, having gone to the trouble of establishing him as Gil's equal in the comic, they seemed to be backing off that idea. Gil having been modified is made more explicit, with having sharper senses added to being stronger and more enduring, while Zola explicitly says Tarvek wasn't modified. Tarvek still gets all his cool moments, but a lot of the fight with Castletilia is explained as post-revivification rush. Although fighting Gil is arguably more impressive if he managed to do it unmodified.
Wait, is Voice of the Castle out, or are you just referring to Clockwork Princess?
For Heaven's SAKE, Tweedle, don't you EVER learn? What was that even? You can't possibly have been about to try and kidnap her, you have one Sparkhound! And just when I was thinking he wasn't that stupid ^^;;
