Yeah, I think either Doc did the old switcharoo with Old somehow, or else he turned himself into a vampire or a headless horseman or something to allow himself to return to life.

Really, Frans should have expected this. Disguising yourself as someone beneath notice (one of the target's servants, or disposable minions, or whatever) is literally one of the oldest tricks in the ninja book.

Simple: McNinja just jumped to the top of a really tall pyramid.

Granted, the point which he jumped up from is vague - could be the base of the pyramid, could be further up it (and probably is, given how close the eye is in Panel 2). Both would still be big jumps to make.

In a comic where jumping to the moon is humanly possible, though, I don't think that necessarily counts as a big jump.
