I don't think vampire bites are supposed to turn you into a vampire. The entire planet would be vampires by now if it did. Or uninhabited, 'cause there's no more humans to drink blood from so they died.

They can turn people into vampires, but don't do it automatically whenever they feed. Dracula likely is planning to for bigger impact though.

Yeah. Vampires are not generally depicted as a plague spreading from victim to victim, but there is usually a process a vampire can perform to turn someone into a vampire. Not everyone who dies from vampire attack becomes a vampire, but vampires are still made from living people rather than born.

Sometimes the process is as simple as the vampire drinking every last drop of blood in a person because the last drop is what turns them into a vampire instead of a corpse. Sometimes it's more complex like a blood exchange, where the vampire drinks the victim's blood and then makes the victim drink the vampire's blood.

However it's done, it's almost always deliberate. Rarely is it possible for a vampire to be created by accident.

Nope. And I feel Doc is banking on it.

I love how much has gone awry with this boss rush. Like, Rad's not abiding by the rules of the boss rush and Doc's not playing along with the sadistic choice like he's supposed to and Marty's immune to zombies so that was a bust. This is not a well-oiled machine. This is what happens to a well-oiled machine when you introduce the human element to it.

And the vampire element. And the giant monster element. And the zombie element.

Oh, I was thinking that the tunnel that said "to the president" was an indent in the wall painted black and Doc's family is walking into a death trap.

Maybe Dracula will fight McNinja in some sort of mirror funhouse thing. Cause like, no reflection.

He's done that once before, so maybe.

Well if Dracula stealing Gordito counts as the Drac confrontation, then Old Patrick & Rayner & clones would be next up in the Boss Rush (which is ironic since that original story kicked off with someone kidnapped, and then Gordito separated from the group).

You know, I'm not sure if I believe the alt text this time when it says Doc is dead. Fool me several times, fool on you...I don't remember how that goes.

Also, have a feeling Judy is going to follow him.

@Major Tom: That's my guess too. I'm half-expecting a wacky setup where they put a glass wall there so Doc thinks it's a reflection, but it's actually Old mimicking his moves and waiting for a moment to surprise-attack him. (Although I don't know if even an Old McNinja can pull off something like that.)

For all of them to be clones would be a terrible mistake. Conservation of Ninjutsu.

What is smarter is for the mirror house to be legit, and for this also to be where Doc has to fight Old. In a room full of reflections of himself, only one of which is actually hostile to him.

Some problems, even spinning can't solve.

While that would work on some level, Old would have just as much of a problem with the mirrors as doc would, negating any advantage a hall of mirrors would provide. It only works if the opponent is a vampire who doesn't happen to look identical to the victim.

Seriously, someone here on this board is Chris.

Not that I'm complaining, I just want to say hi and how much I love your work.

Also, I'm betting the chest wound will be used to determine who's who this fight.

(Speaking of, Chris, I really wouldn't mind if you went back and edited one of the panels on this page to read HE IS A DOCTOR. Anyone else here object?)
