How much could Sakura and Tsunade summon together? Like it was still a fraction right?
A fraction would be anything that's not the entire creature.
But apparently they couldn't summon most of her, if I have it right.
Edit: Damn pagetopper...

I'm disappointed we didn't get a fight with Orochimaru with his arms back actually. Its odd to think that most of his powers where sealed when he fought Naruto, I guess looking back he only really fought with his summoning jutsu and freaky ass body that time though.

Hey dude, don't underestimate the best jutsu in the series. In fact, Vomit Up Thousands Of Snakes With Poisonous Swords In Their Mouths might be the greatest technique in all of fiction. God I love that scene, especially the hurling sound they make before he does it.
Question. I have a vague understanding of the end of Naruto and I don't care about having this spoiled/clarified, but didn't Kishi at least finally get his aesop of the new surpassing the old right in the end? He kind of fumbled the ball forever there with MADARA AND HASHIRAMA ARE THE BESTEST EVER but I thought Naruto and Sasuke ended up surpassing everyone?
Also I know these are YT videos and thus hardly authoritative, or even that informed perhaps, but all the strongest lists I read placed Madara damn near teh top, as in Top 5 or so. Hashirama meanwhile was way lower. What happened there? Did they retcon the whole Madara was always second best thing?

@ New Surpassing Old: Kinda yes and no on that one.
@Madara strength: Madara was second best, but that was before he had Rinnegan and Senju cells.
Before his death Madara's powers where far lesser since he only awakened his Rinnengan at the end of his natural life span. Upon coming back to life he was in his words Better Than New thanks to Kabuto's mad science.
Well had had Naruto and Sasuke, AKA the latest versions of Indra and Ashura, beating the most powerful from two generations before them anyhow.

Sarutobi also apparently surpassed Hashirama when he was in his prime. Of course we only ever get to see him when he's old and decrepit though

Naruto and Sasuke surpassed Hashirama and Madara by relying on the powers of an even older generation, while also being directly boosted by the father of the two ninja that Naruto/Hashirama and Sasuke/Madara were reincarnated from. And that guy's mother is stronger than him.
So no, not really.
I'm pretty sure that was retconned though.

To my knowledge there is no statement saying otherwise, just feats. But its not that Hashirama and Madara (before he was modified) where opponents that where impossible to overcome for anyone else though. Hashirama died in battle after all and even Madara acknowledged that Tobirama was close enough to be considered his equal before he became a freak show.

There was the statement that Hashirama and Tobirama weren't actually at full power when the fought Hiruzen as Edo Tensei, which is where the only claim that prime Hiruzen surpassed thrm came from, I think.
Wasn't the basis "Hiruzen could handle this if he wasn't old?" Which doesn't apply to full power Hashirama after that later reveal.
Enma and Orochimaru both called him the mightiest of the Hokage and the strongest of the five kage in his generation.
Would have also liked to see Prime Hiruzen, probably went all Journey to the West on everyones asses.

That was one of my favorite parts of the manga prior to the War Arc. Even the toughest opponents weren't fucking invincible powerhouses that couldn't be overcome with the right combination of powers and planning ._.
Even Madara's famous defeat came down to trick him with something big and flashy in order to get the chance to stab him in the back
Its not until Freakshow!Madara that you get someone so beyond everyone else that he can only be overcome by becoming even more absurd.

He could probably extend his staff to the moon, since he is based on Sun Wukong, after all, in his prime.
On the other hand, Four tails probably is meant to be the series analogue for THE sun Wukong, too, so it's hard to tell.
Considering Kishimoto loves Cyber Connect 2's games, it wouldn't surprise me if his escalation during the war arc was an influenced by Asuras Wrath at one point.
After all, Naruto is a reincarnation of Asura, as is Hashirama, and Sasuke is for Indra, where said games Deus is based on as well, so it wouldn't surprise me if he looked at it and found the perfect thing for his series to scale up too.
The horned rikudou Sennin mode characters are obviously based on Oni warriors from Onimusha, and it wouldn't surprise me if the silver glow of Ten tails Jinchuriki and otsutsuki clan members is reminiscent to how final villains are portrayed in Garo.

Watch SymphogearI can see why he loves those games I mean their adaptation of the Nine Tails attack on Konoha is amazing.

The Yonbi is definitely the series' Sun Wukong analogue.
His name literally is Sun Wukong. Well, the Japanese version anyway - Son Goku is Sun Wukong.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariSarutobi, Enma and Son Goku are all inspired by Sun Wukong but all in different ways I suppose. Son Goku has the diadem but is otherwise a Dragon Ball homage, while Sarutobi has his fighting style and Enma his appearance and wardrobe.

Funny thing about the Naruto comparison with GARO, the final villains (or final forms of certain villains) tend to be silvery white in nature, due to ascending to a new form of via absorbing something else that's apocalyptic in power.a couple of examples◊ (first one probably NSFW).
Seem familiar to anyone?

Watch SymphogearI just finished watching Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki. Man, that was awesome! This shows that there was absolutely no reason why the Kaguya was as lame as it was. Momoshiki was her underling, so what happened?

With all this alphabet thing going on the Cloud, can we conclude Darui is likely not Darui's real name?
You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.I don't see why we would, "Darui" isn't a letter.
There are two main Theme Naming going on in the Cloud the One-Letter Name Ay, Bee, Shee, Jay. And the adjective way Darui (Sluggish), Karui (Light), Omoi (Heavy) and then a few odd ones out like Nii and Motoi.
Of course since there is always an AB Combo in the village and the one who can sync with the Raikage's attack gets to be the B it may be that the one letter names are the ones that are titles/names.
Speaking of Katsuyu, not seeing her full size was a bit dissapointing.
