I like Chouchou.

You know, I like the revelations about Sasuke being on a mission, but... Come on, another Uchiha/Itachi/Akatsuki plot? Really?

It's a shame this won't go for the psycho end where Sarada gets more and more desperate the further into the Sasuke Conspiracy she goes, with everything getting more and more bizarre until finally Naruto tells her, "No Sarada, you are Sasuke" which of course is the final panel of the manga.

Still, it's still not bad so far. Salad's still cool, Chouchou's not annoying and Sasuke's in character. Dunno how Naruto hasn't sensed them following him though, maybe he knows and it's his father/daughter reunion ruse.

Akatsuki never dies :V

The new Akatsuki leader is the son of Itachi.

And the new kid is Itachi's grandson. They're both named Itachi.

This manga is not clever enough to have Salad face up to the repercussions of evil or the consequences of a full life.

The new Akatsuki leader... obviously Madara. He's just too stronk to die from having the Juubi removed from him, and he knows a jutsu to break the fourth wall and ignore his Character Development.

You're right, her dad was never around for her to tell him her dreams of being on the ships.

Yeah, he was a funny sullen chode with sporadic bursts of extreme bombastic coolness when confronted with Hashi or someone who hits him.

Actually, yes, he did.

Madara had a very distinct personality. He was arrogant, self centered, power hungry and insane, to the point that he was incredibly over the top in all of his actions. Madara also had a clear love interest in the form of Hashirama.

When you think of a stiff, personality-less puppet, you think of Kaguya, not Madara.

• Anybody can tell me why it is called: NARUTO GAIDEN: THE SEVENTH HOKAGE when the author and me is way more interested to follow Sarada ?
• Also, no Bolt. I guess this is the clone he leaves.

It's called that because marketing. Sarada Uchiha and the Raiders of the Deadbeat Dad doesn't conform to the brand name well enough.

IMO, it could be called: "Sasuke 2: Sarada's Chronicle of the Uchiha vengeance: The Return of Sasuke", people would still buy the damn thing. After all, the plot is not only about searching Sasuke (Again), but now about the return of the Itachi Fanclub.

Hell, I would argue that sales would explode if the title was honest.

Sasuke is not Sarada's father. He is her uncle. She was created by Orochimaru who used Itachi's DNA for her creation.

Japan does love Sasuke so you might be right.

Interesting to see Sasuke using one handed seals, I guess Kishi was just being lazy and not showing hand signs when he had Sasuke use jutsu while holding his sword.

I think the guy who ambushed Sasuke might be a bit slow. And how is Sasuke the disgrace to the family and not the guy who helped kill most of the family?

I feel a bit embarrassed for Sarada that it took her that long to realize she could just hunt Sasuke down and ask him about it.

So, he has in fact been sending letters to the village on a semi-regular basis.

Finally the chapter is out. I hope we don't have to wait an entire week to read them from now on.

Well, looks like Sarada is going to be the main character here, good I still like her. I imagine Boruto and that Mitsuki guy will get focus later.

I think I already know the explanation Kishimoto will give about Sarada's deal: that Itachi worshipper guy stole Sarada's eyes, that's why he has a sharingan. Then Karin had her eyes transplanted on Sarada, or some shit like that.

He's the second closest thing their world has to a god, no string of missions could be so hard as to keep him for twelve years so the deadbeat angle still works.
