• Awesome Music: His new NXT theme, "Hero's Welcome", has become an instant hit with the fans.
  • Of course, there's always this classic. Sing along: "Chris is awesome, he's as hot as it gets..."
• Broken Base
  • A lot of his so called fans turned on Hero after his release from NXT. On the flip side, a lot of WWE and or NXT fans started speaking fondly of his run after CM Punk revealed he was one of the initial picks for The Shield.
  • Suggest on any platform where NOAH is a regular topic that the promotion should reward Hero with a push...or better yet, don't.
  • There's also a bit of debate about Hero's run post-WWE. On one hand, it's great that he seems to be happy with the current direction of his career. On the other hand, some wonder whether he's just more happy being a big fish in a little pond.
• Draco in Leather Pants: The large majority of his time in Ring of Honor has been dedicated to general dick behavior and whining but whenever he isn't doing anything overtly assholish the fans tend to go back to cheering for him.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Was starting to become the most popular wrestler on NXT till his abrupt release, which makes the fact the fans turned on him after said release all the more annoying.
• Hollywood Pudgy: Initially the jokes and critiques about Hero's weight were this. But then he actually got fat, and claimed all the years of keeping the weight off were horrible.
• Never Live It Down: His WWE release. Before it, Chris Hero had a reputation as a meat head who was always working out. After it, his supposedly sub par conditioning is the most consistent complaint critics have about him. He wasn't even released for conditioning, just taken off of NXT for awhile because of it, then let back on and released for other reasons, amicably.
