- The Woobie: Bob early on in the book. First, his closest friend starts hanging out with the new kid more then him. Then during a protest he's asked to hold something, then strikes Calvin with it for making fun of his friend, only to discover that he's holding a sign saying "Zombie Go Home", and is labeled a racist on the newsnote . And finally, it all causes his old friend to hate and start ignoring him. Throughout all that, you will just want to hug him.
