- Tom, an orphan who earns his dream to be a part of Billy the Kid's gang, only to be mortally shot while on the run, at the tragic young age of 14.
- Doc, who becomes arrested for his past crimes while working as a schoolteacher (presumably trying to redeem himself, and supporting his wife and child), and eventually is shot before he even has a chance to be reunited with his family - whom he misses so much.
